“We loved the property and where it was situated.”

There was a well stocked kitchen, the games room was a huge favourite, the garden was big enough and so were the bedrooms and bathrooms. We loved the living room. There were just a few bits that let it down. There were cobwebs in quite a few areas of the property, like no one had been in for a while, there were some dirty glasses in the games room and the windows needed cleaning. There was a strong damp smell in the main dining and downstairs bathroom so were not able to use the dining room and ...

There were just a few bits that let it down. There were cobwebs in quite a few areas of the property, like no one had been in for a while, there were some dirty glasses in the games room and the windows needed cleaning. There was a strong damp smell in the main dining and downstairs bathroom so were not able to use the dining room and the twin bedroom had damp on the wall by the window. As mentioned before in a previous review, there was no welcome pack. Those points aside, we would stay again if the issues were rectified.

“This was excellent accomodation in terms of location, cleanliness, layout and value for money.”

Only surprise was that there were hardly any basic groceries which we found unusual for a holiday rental in our vast experience - no dishwasher tablets, salt and pepper. It would be a nice touch to provide basics such as a pint of milk, a few teabags, some bread for visitors who arrive very late.

“A lovely property and we would definitely stay again.”

Very clean. Very big well equipped kitchen and lovely bathrooms. Beautiful lounge. Very good location near the shopping park. Downstairs bathroom an extra touch. Very pleased overall. The best property we have stayed in in Llandudno.

“This was our second time at Noah's Rest and the new decoration just added to an already lovely house.”

Some people have not been impressed with parking but never found it an issue, cars come and go from around there all the time but you can always get a place to park. I love where the house is situated. The station is a very short walk away as is ASDA and there is a pub, kebab shop and the best chinese take away ever all within a 2 minute walk. The new sofas in the lounge were not the most comfortable but that is my only critisism apart from that, love the house, love Llandudno so would gladly go back again

“This is ideal for larger groups of family or friends.”

There were nine of us and a fur baby. Bedrooms each. Bathroom on each floor. Does need a few tweaks, kitchen tap a little temperamental and shower one first floor, hand held broke but overhead works fine. Last residents had not cleared dog muck from the back. That said, we had a a fabulous stay. Beds lovely and comfy, all nice a clean. Games rooms is great. Dining room a bit gloomy but didn't stop us spending the evenings sitting around the table playing cards and games. Will definitely book again.

“When it rains the right hand outside light on the outside room sparks.”

the kitchen tap came to pieces in my hand sending water everywhere. Bath plug didnt seal water in Upstairs floors were uneven feeling as if holes in floor boards Beds were very high. My disabled husband couldn't get in or out without help Dining room was very dark we didn't use it. The bathroom on the ground floor would have been ideal if it had a bedroom attached instead of dining room. Cleanliness excellent Ideally placed but very noisy at night We booked and paid for 2 parking spaces for the week on Asda car park which was ideal as it seemed a fight both day and night for spaces outside the property. Overall we had a lovely week Thank you

“Lovely large well equipped house.”

Perfect for our family get together. We were a party of 8 adults, 1 child a baby and 2 dogs and we we all had plenty of space and good sleeping arrangements. The pool/telly room outside was a real bonus. Could do with a doormat at the back door, to keep the kitchen floor dry. The house is perfectly situated close to everything. Would definitely recommend it.

“This is a great house for a family gathering.”

The property is really well located, no need to use the car for Asda or M&S. The railway station is at the end of the street and you are in the centre of town in 5 minutes. Despite that the street is quiet and we had no problems with parking. The property is a large period terrace which is tastefully and freshly decorated, and comfortable. The kitchen is roomy and well equipped with a small fridge plus a large American style fridge freezer which was great for a big family. The games room is smart and cosy with a decent smart tv and pool table. The lounge has a similar large tv and plenty couches and there is a good sized dining room. High quality duvets and pillows are a welcome touch. There are enough bathrooms for everyone and lots of storage for shoes and coats in the hall. This is a stylish, well thought out property and the location could not be better.

“Beautiful house.”

We were very happy at Noah’s Rest. Just a few small things that could be improved. Needs a lock on downstairs wet room. Back door lock is very stiff. Smart TV needed in lounge.

“This is a lovely house, the bedrooms are very spacious and the games room an added bonus.”

Had a few little problems whilst we were there but these were rectified very quickly. Parking outside could be an issue, due to continuous activity on the street but the train station is very close and has reasonably priced parking. Llandudno town centre is a short walk away and Asda is at the end of the road. Perfectly placed if you don't want to use your car :)

“Noah’s rest was an amazing holiday home for us!”

It far exceeded our expectations and was better than the photos. There was everything we needed included in our stay. The location is amazing and walking distance to all the attractions. Asda is a couple minutes walk away which was really handy. We can’t fault our stay. Beautiful home in a beautiful place! It would be better if all the bathroom doors had locks on them, the games room had a little damp in it and there were missing pool balls. Some door handles were loose too. These are all small things that could be improved to make it 10/10. We can’t wait to come back and would highly recommend!

“Our 3rd year at this cottage .”

There are 10 family members and two dogs. We come mainly for the games room “pool and air hockey “ There were no pool cues but after a phone call new ones were delivered the following day. The back first floor bedroom had a broken window lock but we could see the previous holiday makers had reported this. We would have liked twin beds in one of the double bedrooms. We will definitely be booking again next year.

“We had a great holiday in Llandudno staying here as a large group, ranging from aged 8 to over 80 years old.”

The house is clean and well decorated, with nice linen and towels, comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms. It also has a cosy living room with a bright, well equipped kitchen. The games room and courtyard garden were really appreciated too. It was good having a space for the older children/teens to enjoy and the pool table and air hockey were popular. In the house, there are a few toys and games available for children. Having a few books for people to read was a nice touch as well. Not all the tv remotes in bedrooms worked but we were too busy getting out and about so it was not an issue. Parking on the same road and surrounding streets was easy to secure though it wasn’t always possible to get directly outside. The owners could be more reassuring in their response when asked about this ahead of arrival. In terms of accessibility for those with disabilities, the listing needs an update. The hoists have been removed and there isn’t a ground floor sleeping space. This room is now a pretty dining room. The ground floor accessible bathroom that is off the dining room has also been altered. It is a large open wet room shower without any supports in the shower area and no easy reach place to put toiletries. The floor can be quite slippery so you need to take care in that area in the absence of support. There are toilet rails which are helpful. The shower would benefit from some handrails, a non- slip mat, a shower seat or bench and a shelf/stand for toiletries. This would help those with restricted mobility or who are vulnerable to falls. The first floor shower tray is also slippery, so I would recommend use of a non-slip mat there too (not provided). All the bedrooms are now accessed by stairs, with a few stairs to and from the bathroom/loo used by those sleeping in first floor rooms. One member of our party was elderly and needs help to mobilise and another unfortunately had a broken leg. We could navigate stairs with crutches/adjustments and took our own shower seat thankfully, else it would have been a challenge to manage. Furniture would need to be moved in the front room to make that more accessible as the gap between sofas is small. Most houses we have stayed in provide a small welcome pack, with tea/coffee/sugar/milk to use on arrival to make a drink. Usually there is a snack too (biscuits or cake). This time, there wasn’t anything for us but the local shops and M&S with a food hall and Asda are very close by so we managed to get sorted quickly. The personal touch is missing for the welcome to this house but the location, space and general amenities were great. With support from family, we were able to adapt to accommodate the needs of our party and make the best of the house. We would definitely return with knowledge of how to safely make adjustments for those who need help.

“Lovely big house, plenty of room for the 6 of us during a weeks' stay.”

Beds comfy and sofas big enough to accommodate us all. Property extremely clean and it has everything you'd need for cooking. Location perfect, everything close at hand and seafront a 10/15 minute stroll. Slight niggles involved the stair gate had no fixings, and to keep our dogs from going upstairs we had to improvise which was a bit of a pain. The upstairs toilet wasn't working on arrival and there was a strong smell of damp in the play room. We contacted the owners and the toilet was fixed a couple of days prior to us leaving. However, we would stay again due to the location and size of property.

“Wow what a lovely house.”

Was even nicer than the pictures. Sykes need to update photos because the house has been done up a bit. New dining room instead of disabled bedroom. New table in living room and more TVs added upstairs. In an ideal spot close to everything and felt safe near the police station. Has everything you need. Beautiful house

Llandudno lies between two headlands, the Great Orme and the Little Orme and it is these headlands, and the town's two waterfronts, that give this tourist resort its special appeal.
