    “Lovely comfortable property.”

    Easily accessed and within reach of everything on Anglesey and the north of mainland Wales Good quality fittings. Our only problem is that we both have mobility issues and the step from outside to the twin bedroom and the step down to the lounge was difficult . Both these could be easily improved: adding another external step to the bedroom (ie 2 steps up) and another hang rail for going down / up between the kitchen area and the lounge would help, The bedside lamp in the double room was odd ...

Both these could be easily improved: adding another external step to the bedroom (ie 2 steps up) and another hang rail for going down / up between the kitchen area and the lounge would help, The bedside lamp in the double room was odd and there were no instructions. Couldn't use the bath as we couldn't safely get in. Maybe some steps? These would also help shorter guests reach the top of kitchen cupboards. Maybe baking tray could be added and even a plug in USB socket ... both very cheap. Would have hoped to see a mention of problems that might face people with mobility issues. Regards Patti

PENMYNYDD

Red Wharf Bay 4 miles; Benllech 6 miles.

The scattered rural village of Penmynydd stands amidst lovely countryside only four miles from the stunning coastline of the beautiful Isle of Anglesey. The ancient village gave rise to the Tudor family, the forefathers of Henry VIII and Elizabeth I, and today boasts the St Gredifael Church built in the 14th century and home of the Tudor Tomb. Nearby Benllech has a beautiful long beach, much favoured by families, with a slipway allowing easy access for all. A variety of shops and cafes front the beach, with a picnic area to the side, whilst the town centre offers more shops, pubs, hotels and restaurants. Only 4 miles away is Red Wharf Bay providing stunning scenery, miles of golden sands and a good choice of restaurants. The charming town of Beaumaris, the Sea Zoo, Pili Butterfly Palace and Plas Newydd are all on the island, while on the mainland, Penrhyn Castle, Bodnant Gardens and the stunning scenery of Snowdonia are easily reached.
