“Had a lovely week at the Farmhouse.”

Very comfortable and everything is of a high standard. The hot tub was very welcome and very well used at the end of each day after walking coastal paths. Robes are provided for guests so that is a bonus. Just a couple of niggles. Unable to use hanging space in main bedroom as couldn't reach the rail, and a dressing table or chest of drawers would be useful as loads of space for one. Also if going as a group of six you wouldn't be able to use the hot tub at the same time as only fits ...

Unable to use hanging space in main bedroom as couldn't reach the rail, and a dressing table or chest of drawers would be useful as loads of space for one. Also if going as a group of six you wouldn't be able to use the hot tub at the same time as only fits four. That said, we had a brilliant time and would definitely recommend to family and friends. Thank you

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. We're so pleased you had a brilliant week at The Farmhouse and enjoyed the comfort of the accommodation, as well as making good use of the hot tub after your coastal walks. We're glad the robes were appreciated too. Thank you also for your helpful feedback, the hot tub capacity is 4-6 people based on the manufactures guidance. Thank you again for your recommendation. It was a pleasure to host you, and we hope to welcome you back in the future. Property Owner

About the location

LLANFECHELL

Cemaes Bay 1.5 miles; Holyhead 15 miles.

Llanfechell is a small village situated one and a half miles from Cemaes Bay, on the northern tip of Anglesey in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village gets its name from the nearby 12th century Mechell Church, which has been extended over the years and where it is believed that St Mechell is buried. The ancient Parys mountain copper mines are seven miles away, with their lunar-like landscape and the area is popular with geologists and archaeologists due to the rock formations at Mechell Mountain and the several ancient monuments scattered around, reputed to be some of the oldest in the world. Llanfechell is home to a village pub, which serves traditional ale with a warm welcome. Nearby, the pretty seaside village of Cemaes Bay is home to three pubs, a few shops, a natural sheltered harbour and a sandy beach, edged by grassy cliffs and ideal for safe bathing and family fun. The whole of the Isle of Anglesey is renowned for its miles of stunning and varied coastline, offering wonderful walking and cycling opportunities, along with birdwatching, excellent watersports, fishing and many quality golf courses. Anglesey Sea Zoo and a variety of National Trust properties and gardens are all within reach on this beautiful island, while a day trip to Dublin can be enjoyed from nearby Holyhead.
