The approach and outside of the property looked awful. The outside looks really run down and could do with tidying up. If our parents hadn't been staying in Bay Tree where we parked our car, parking would have been extremely difficult with the neighbours car also parked outside Fir Tree.
The inside of the Fir Tree was beautiful and everything was provided although the cleaner obviously leaves the dirty wet mop in the cupboard next to the fridge which leaves an unpleasant smell.

The sofa is extremely soft and difficult to get off. The bed was very comfortable and the shower room was very well done.
It would be useful to have a guest information book like the one in Bay Tree for recommendations of places to eat, go to and information about what's in the cottage.
It would also be useful to have a note on recycling and bin collection as we were told by the neighbour that we had missed it so we had to leave it in the bins which my husband had to go and find at the top of the driveway.
