    “Very nice holiday cottage.”

Clean, spacious and very well-equipped kitchen. Loved the view from the kitchen and bedroom across the rolling fields. Excellent water pressure and hot water in the shower. Wifi has a strong signal. Garden is a good size and is enclosed; small dogs may find a way through and any larger 'jumpers' would need watching as sheep do graze right up to the fence, which I loved seeing. Washer/dryer was appreciated as weather was 'mixed' on my stay to say the least! Owner's house is next building down the ...

Washer/dryer was appreciated as weather was 'mixed' on my stay to say the least! Owner's house is next building down the track but they are not so close that you feel their presence / overlooked. Only thing that would have improved it for me would have been a woodburner just for the cosy feel, even though the place is perfectly warm without it.

The pretty rural Welsh village of Llansannan lies equidistant between Denbigh, Llanwrst and Abergele, and offers a local general store, Post Office and friendly village pub. LLansannan is nestled on the banks of the River Aled, just 8 miles from the North Wales coast, with Colwyn Bay and Llandudno easily accessible. The town of Denbigh is 8 miles to the east and dates back to the 11th century, boasting the remains of a 13th century castle, perched atop a steep hill above the town and commanding some superb views over the surrounding countryside. A busy little town, Denbigh provides a variety of shops and pubs, and a number of events including walking festivals, beer festivals, the Denbigh and Flint Annual Show, the ClayArt Potters Market and a monthly People's Market. Within easy reach of Denbigh are the cathedral at St Asaph, the castle at Bodelwyddan, the seaside resorts of Llandudno or Colwyn Bay, and the historic city of Chester, over the border into England. The Snowdonia National Park is a short drive, with its stunning lakes, mountains, walking and cycling, while the Lleyn Peninsula and excellent beaches on the Isle of Anglesey are ideal for a day trip.
