“The cleaning agency is letting you down.”
Husband removed 30 spiders from tops of walls. Hob and oven not cleaned adequately. Tea towel had holes in it. No spare toilet rolls. No welcome pack. Bedding on king bed felt very damp. Hand towels smelled fusty.
Had to run dehumidifier which kept filling up.
Power cut one day 9-3, dangerous as husband was in shower when it went off. Grass had not been cut. Damp caused flare up of asthma. We left on Tuesday.

It is regrettable that we were not contacted during your stay. Guests have both the cleaner's and owner's contact details, and we would have been more than willing to arrange immediate solutions to improve your comfort.
Some matters, such as the local power outage, were unfortunately beyond our control, though we do appreciate how disruptive this may have been.
With regard to the lawn, the gardener attends every two weeks and a cut was completed on 8th July.
With regard to the linen issues, all bed linen and towels are cleaned professionally and replaced at weekly changeovers.
With regard to the claim of damp within the property, no other guests highlighted a similar concern either before or after your stay.
This is the first time such extensive negative feedback has been received. Many guests have enjoyed their stays and spoken very positively about both the property and their experience. That said, your concerns are noted. We will be acting on them to ensure standards remain high for future visitors.
