“Very spacious quirky house with amazing views and good base for exploring North Wales but a lot further out of Prestatyn centre than we realised - walking back up that huge hill several times certainly built up our fitness!”

The access to the house itself is also via a very steep drive or some very rough steps so unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. The interior was very light and attractive with lots of lovely features but too many interior steps and personal ornaments for young children - glad we hadn't taken our 2 yr old grandson. The beds were lovely and comfortable and the Superking bedroom was amazing but unfortunately the bed is extremely high and the stool which was apparently meant to access the ...

The beds were lovely and comfortable and the Superking bedroom was amazing but unfortunately the bed is extremely high and the stool which was apparently meant to access the bed had sloping legs so we didn't dare use it and the bedroom ended up being used by our teenage grandaughters who had no problem climbing up there. The little games room with the arcade machine was a huge success with the grandchildren and a brilliant unusual addition to the property. The kitchen area is beautiful and very well equipped although we did very little cooking while we were there - just the toaster and the microwave! There are a few areas that we felt could benefit from a little tlc, mainly the very stained beige rug in the lounge and loose taps in the twin bedroom ensuite but overall a lovely property which we enjoyed staying in - we got some lovely weather so the patio is perfect for early morning coffee and evening drinks!

“Thank you for a wonderful stay.”

The place was lovely with great views. The boys loved the games room and the hot tub was a hit! Just a couple of things I would have liked. A bathmat in each bathroom and an airer to hang towels and swimsuits on after getting out of the hot tub. Minor inconveniences. Have already recommended the house to my cousin and a friend. Thank you.

“A lovely house with an interesting layout and a fun raised bed in one room.”

It could have been a little bit cleaner (I spent a while on the first day giving the kitchen a good clean, particularly cutlery and plates), but overall was acceptable. The games room was a fantastic addition.

“The property was lovely and as described on the website.”

There was a bottle of wine and some traditional welsh food items left for us, which was a nice touch. The views from the property were amazing and it’s located in a beautiful spot, with lots of walks from the door step. On the whole, we had a lovely, relaxing weekend away. The only negative is that there were no hand towels in the bathrooms, just bath towels left for each guest, no tea towels in the kitchen and in the basket labelled ‘hot tub towels’ there were none. Also the soap dispensers in the bathrooms were empty. Just small things but noticeable.

“We stayed for 5 nights with our family including the Dogs!”

We had a lovely stay and found the accomodation what we had expected from the advert which was fabulous. We had plenty of room and the Dogs loved running around in the garden, it was secure although parts of the fence where a little lower so be careful if you have larger dogs that can jump. The hot tub was a nice treat too with a beautiful view. Facilities good although there was no dishwasher tablets available so we had to purchase ourselves. We had an almost 2 year old, a 3 year old and baby with us, the owners provided baby gate and a cot bed with a mattress as well as a high chair which was very handy. We found with the dogs, having a hoover with a proper head would have been helpful as was just the nozzle attached. Accomodation was clean in general but the odd thing could have had a little more attention to detail such as the outside table and broken bench In the garden. The main bed (upstairs) we found was uncomfortable and we both ended up with sore backs following our trip, so would recommend maybe getting a new mattress. Outside We did notice there was a screw keeping the outdoor cushion storage box shut which would not normally have been an issue for us but with 3 young children it could be dangerous. We did unfortunately have a mishap with the key which fell down a manhole outside the property where the car was parked (the drive is VERY steep so we did not use it), after much difficulty trying to get this back we called the owner who was very understanding and we sorted out the issue. In the meantime a very kind neighbour came to help us and managed to retrieve it. We met a few of the immediate neighbours who seemed very friendly. On our arrival we had a bottle of wine and cake left which was a nice touch. Overall we would really recommend the accommodation and the feedback is purely minor things that could make this even better. Thank you so much and we may be back one day again.

“We liked the open plan aspect of the lounge, dinner and kitchen.”

There were lovely views from the house and raised decking. The hot tub offered another good feature, however upon first use the water looked like it needed cleaning/treatment. For those who have mobility issues then within the house there are many steps and the garden is sloped. We did make use of the fire pit at the bottom of the garden. We couldn't use the off road parking on the drive as it is very steep and not wide enough to open the car doors. The kitchen offered the usual appliances but we did find the cupboards for food storage a little limited. On arrival the house was tidy but could have been a little cleaner. The hoover didn't have a cleaning head or pipe so using it was difficult requiring you to bend down. We did search all cupboards thoroughly but couldn't find the items. The house is in a good location only a short drive into town and reasonable drive to Conwy, Llandudno, Anglesey, amongst other places.

“Everything was good, but we would have liked a cafetière.”

I appreciate that there was information about no tea towels, but none of us had read this as they are usually supplied. We bought some in Prestatyn, so easily solved. Fabulous views from the property.
