The views from the living room and the main bedroom were absolutely superb, views across the Menai Straits to the old part of Bangor University which is illuminated at night.
The only problem was with the kitchen. Although there were12 wine glasses, there was no small ovenproof dish, or a clean hollowware dishes.There were three breakfast bowls and three pudding dishes. Also when we stayed before there was a fridge and a freezer, now there is only a very small fridge with a freezer section. We feel the owner needs to come and check on this before anyone else stays.

We are delighted to hear that you found the cottage spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable, and that you enjoyed the views across the Menai Strait from both the living room and main bedroom. The evening view towards Bangor, with the university buildings illuminated, is one of our favourite sights too.
We are sorry to hear that you found some items missing from the kitchen. As with any holiday cottage, crockery and kitchenware do occasionally get broken or damaged by guests. We do our best to keep everything fully stocked, but if guests do not let us know when something has been broken or is missing, we are unfortunately not always aware that it needs replacing. We will certainly review the kitchen inventory following your comments.
With regard to the fridge freezer, this was replaced as part of the complete kitchen refurbishment at the beginning of 2025. At that time, we chose a modern integrated fridge freezer which we felt was more in keeping with the needs of most holiday guests, who are typically staying for short breaks or a week or two rather than undertaking long-term catering. That said, we do appreciate that different guests have different requirements, and we are grateful for your comments.
