“Lovely and well appointed apartment.”
On this occasion I was holidaying alone with my two dogs.
I have stayed in a few of the Tywod Arian apartments on previous holidays. This one is one of the better appointed.
On arrival everything was as expected. The only thing missing from previous experiences in the same block was the welcome pack, and a new cleaning cloth, and perhaps kitchen roll. On arrival everything was as expected. The only thing missing from previous experiences in the same block was the welcome pack, and a new cleaning cloth, and perhaps kitchen roll. I didn’t bring my own as previously everything was provided. Some of the glasses, plates and cutlery were not clean and for an apartment sleeping 6 guests, I could only find 4 glass tumblers two large and two small, there were two empty cupboards so enough room to store more.
I arrived early and the cleaner had not been on site before 2pm with a deadline for finishing at 4pm.
I returned about 3pm to find the cleaner had already left. For an apartment of this size in one hour on site, I’m guessing s/he was rushed so perhaps didn’t double check everything.
These little omissions did not spoil my enjoyment, but feel I should mention to improve future guests’ experience.
The apartment is in a perfect location for access to the beach, a great cafe and pub which serves food all day (The Cliffs).
The weather wasn’t great, but there is plenty to do in the local area.
This is a beautiful, unspoilt part of the Welsh coast and I would highly recommend.
The apartment is a great base for a holiday and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. It is currently for sale and I really hope the new owner continues to allow holiday rentals.
