“Well, what a stunning place from start to finish.”

Immaculately clean throughout, very high-quality comfortable furniture (none of this basic sofa lark some cottages have) and the comfiest beds ever. The attention to detail is superb. Immaculately clean throughout, very high-quality comfortable furniture (none of this basic sofa lark some cottages have) and the comfiest beds ever. The attention to detail is superb. They have not skimped on the mattresses and I slept so well. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils (just no basics like salt, pepper and cooking oil so take these with you – not a problem and not a requirement, just adding for info). The grounds are well maintained, the views stunning, so peaceful. Not a single issue or even improvement I could suggest. Me and my cat had the perfect week. Now, I have only scored good not excellent for listing accuracy just because it says there is Wi-Fi and there is not (not usable anyway). I was going to do some work on holiday but this meant I couldn't, which was blooming brilliant and made me totally relax. My only other worry was the owners visiting, but that's a me problem because I am socially awkward and fret about that sort of thing, but I only saw the owner once and she was lovely. The rest of the time was undisturbed which is exactly what I needed – a zero people retreat. I will 100% be going back – my cat and I have been holidaying in cottages for 17 years and this is in our top 3 of all time. Just perfect.
