Colin “The bungalow was in a fantastic location.”
It had everything we needed and we were extremely happy with it. Many thanks to the owners.

Joanna “Brilliant location and gorgeous views.”
We had a lovely holiday at happy daze. Cottage was spotless when we arrived and had everything we needed for a family stay. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that bathroom is quite outdated and bedrooms could do with curtains as the blinds don’t keep much light out!
- Joanna, July 2024Elizabeth “Having used Sykes a good number of times we were rather disappointed to find that the property did not entirely match the listing description.”
There were rooms that were very tired looking and there was a note from the owner that the open fire was not to be used…. Not made clear in the listing. Bedding was tired looking and un-ironed and towels were very worn. The kitchen, ( though well stocked with crockery and utensils) appeared unloved…. Everything just haphazardly stored in the cupboards. The location was very good and we did enjoy the views, but overall felt that there were some improvements needed.
- Elizabeth, June 2024Geoffrey “Really lovely place to stay Lovely watching the wildlife in the fields & views ...”
Really lovely place to stay Lovely watching the wildlife in the fields & views of morfa nefyn etc Everyone enjoyed there holiday with 3 generations there was plenty of room
- Geoffrey, August 2023Leander “We absolutely loved our stay here for ten days.”
My only issue at all was the direct sunlight shining into our eyes which we could not block due to no curtains in the living room. Would absolutely book again. Enjoyed by a family of 7.
- Leander, June 2023Sarah “Just a lovely place, great location, fabulous views with everything we needed for a great weeks stay.”
Thank you
- Sarah, April 2023Lisa “Beautiful house, amazing location, lovely views overlooking the coastline.”
The house was very spacious, warm and comfortable which was perfect for our family of five and really well equipped. The beach was within walking distance which was so handy not having to find parking every day, as was the local pub. The children loved the large spacious garden to run around in and especially loved feeding the neighbours horses every day. We loved it here and can’t wait to go back again.
- Lisa, April 2023Amy “We had a very enjoyable break at Happy Daze.”
The house has beautiful views and is in a peaceful location just a short walk to the beach. James the neighbour is really nice and helpful. In the main the cottage was clean, my only constructive feedback is that the shower could do with updating.
- Amy, May 2022Alison “Had a great holiday.”
Think we were very fortunate with the weather. It would be helpful if the property details mentioned the large ice box in the fridge as we shopped before we arrived and it would have been nice to have known we could store some frozen food. Also the views from the sitting room were glorious, great for sunset watching. The property certainly beat expectations on location and setting.
- Alison, September 2021Katie “Absolutely loved out stay here would highly recommend, lovely view of the sea and nice and relaxing place to be.”
- Katie, June 2021Bridget “Relaxing beautiful location”
- Bridget, September 2020Joan “The only criticism would be the Pans.”
Instead of Non Stick Pans, Stainelss steel Pans would have been better and the fact that there was no milk pan and that is all I would change.Other than those two items the Cottage met everything we needed.
