“Amazing! This was our first visit to Wales and it did not disappoint.”
The farmhouse is lovely, Lynda and Arwel are the most fabulous hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. They were great with our two children, letting them roam around the farm collecting eggs, meeting the animals and nosing about. Arwel even took us on an evening trip in his truck to see the sunset and meet the animals. The house was spotless on arrival and Lynda has thought of everything that you could need. The fairy cakes and Welsh cake on arrival was gratefully received, as was the milk in the fridge and freshly laid eggs. We got to meet most of their family too which was lovely. The house is situated just a short drive from the very beautiful Betws-y-Coed and we certainly made the most of our ten days where we went paddleboarding, horse riding, mountain biking, visited Zipworld Fforest for the coasters but also the other Zipworld where we rode Velocity. We visited the beautiful beach at Black Rock Sands, the kids enjoyed splashing in the waterfalls at Fairy Falls and watching the water at Swallow Falls. Conwy was beautiful to visit, we didn't go in the Castle as we had the dog with us but had a lovely walk round to the small beach area before a picnic then popping into a pub for a drink. Oh and we also climbed Mount Snowdon with the kids (12 & 11) and Dave the Rottweiler. We loved it so much that we will definitely be back. Once again, Sykes didn't disappoint.
