“A very comfortable and cosy barn.”

Luxurious bathrooms, plenty of hot water. Perfect for long, indulgent baths and invigorating showers. Peaceful and picturesque location. Only a short walk to local shops and beach. An ideal location from which to explore the Lyn Peninsula. The host, Peta, was very helpful and friendly. Many thanks for sharing your local knowledge and for your recommendations.

The property

This charming, detached barn conversion, Bwthyn Gwenyn Yr Haf, is located in the seaside town of Nefyn on the Llyn Peninsula.

This wonderful accommodation is an ideal holiday base for a family or group of six, since it is just minutes from Nefyn's gorgeous beach and Wales Coastal Path, as well as, many of the Llyn Peninsula's sights!

After parking in one of the two designated spots, store your stuff in the boot room before enjoying the several charms of this sumptuous holiday home.

Thanks to its shaker-style cabinets and slate flooring, the kitchen/diner is a truly brilliant area; the space offers top-notch amenities, including two electric ovens and an American-style fridge/freezer, so the appointed chef will have a ball cooking here!

Tuck into the tasty treats, prepared by the foodie of the group at the nearby dining area, or take them out into the garden to savour.

As the day progresses, relax in the sitting room, where a Smart TV will keep you occupied and an electric effect log burner will warm you up; the space opens out to a courtyard, where your furry friends can stretch their legs.

When the sun sets, retire to one of the three beautiful bedrooms, two of which are on the ground floor- a double and and a twin - and the third of which is a mezzanine king-size with Velux-style windows and a magnificent en-suite shower room.

A wonderful ground-floor bathroom completes the property's interior, with a freestanding bath for restful soaks and a walk-in shower for energising rinses to enjoy before exploring the surrounding region.

Visit Nefyn, where you can stock up on picnic supplies at the convenience store and head down to the beach for a day of sun and sand or take a walk along the impressive cliffs on the Llyn Coastal Path, which practically begins a few steps from your door.

Alternatively, stop by the local brewery, Cwrw Llyn, for a well-deserved pint!

Spend some time at Morfa Nefyn, a charming community with access to Porthdinllaen headland and home to the Ty Coch Inn, voted one of the best beach bars in the world.

Or, why not play a round of golf at the Nefyn & District Golf Club, a challenging 27 hole championship course, offering golfers a rich variety of breathtaking views and scenery.

Abersoch, with its gorgeous beaches, surfing and sailing activities, is only a short drive away, also offering a golf course.
