    Brilliant location near to amazing beaches, shops, restaurants pubs etc. and with easy access to Snowdonia National Park, Anglesey, Portmadog, Portmerion, Mach Loop etc. Took train to Portmadog and walked back to Criccieth along the Wales Coastal Path route - a fab walk with amazing scenery! Accommodation great - love the upside down living. Kitchen well stocked with pots pans etc so you can easily make your own meals. Beds nice and comfy. We’ll definitely becoming back. Big shout out for the ...

The property

Cefn Bryn Mawr is a beautiful semi-detached barn conversion, one of two in a small courtyard position.

The cottage is well thought out with comfort and style in mind, a modern, contemporary interior blends well with the character features, such as exposed purlins and beams.

The cottage is ideal for a family or couples.

Three bedrooms on the ground floor are stylish in design, a cosy double, a twin which is great for the children and the master bedroom boasting a king-size bed and en-suite shower room.

There is also a family bathroom which is great if someone fancies a bit of pampering!

Or a good soak after a day out and about.

An open staircase leads up to the spacious open plan living accommodation which offers a well-equipped kitchen with dining area and a comfortable sitting area where everyone can sit and relax, an ideal area for entertaining and socialising. Cefyn Bryn Cottages

Centrally located in the seaside village of Criccieth, these two delightful barn conversions are situated in a ‘tucked away’ courtyard location just off the main high street, behind the Brynhir Arms public house. These wonderful barn conversions are less than 20 yards from the vibrant and eclectic high street with an array of shops, pubs, tearooms and restaurants, with the wonderful sandy and pebbled beach and Medieval Castle just a 10 minute walk away. Both successfully converted to combine original features and character with modern décor and furnishings these lovely cottages are an ideal base for a gathering of friends, family or couples alike. Book individually or together for those special occasions when the whole family can get together and celebrate a special birthday or anniversary. Great care has been taken to ensure there is everything you need for a comfortable stay and a wonderful holiday. There is ample off road, private parking outside and each cottage has an enclosed courtyard and patio area with furniture for you to enjoy, sit out and simply relax and enjoy the fresh sea air. Perfectly located for exploring this beautiful coastline of North Wales, with the Coastal Path close by its great for some wonderful walks and the popular resorts of Abersoch and Pwllheli are easily reached, both are well worth exploring, with many miles of sandy beach and watersport opportunities. Within driving distance is the Italianate village of Portmeirion, the wonderful Snowdonia National Park, the harbour town of Porthmadog, home of the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Steam Railways, and further afield is the Isle of Anglesey. There really is something for everyone in North Wales and these wonderful cottages can be enjoyed at any time of the year.

Often described as the 'Pearl of Wales on the shores of Snowdonia’, this delightful seaside town is situated just 5 miles from Porthmadog. The town’s 13th century castle perches majestically on a rocky outcrop, dominating the skyline and offering superb views of Tremadog Bay and the Snowdonia mountains. Watersports enthusiasts will be delighted by the two beaches, whilst walkers and bikers are spoilt for choice by the proximity of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. Stroll along the beaches, watch porpoises playing in the surf, or relax in the various pubs, restaurants and tea rooms, sampling the famous Cadwalader’s ice cream.
