It’s a fantastic holiday home with truly spectacular views from the cottage windows. The facilities were excellent and made for a very comfortable stay.
On our first full day, a storm rolled in and we decided to stay indoors--which turned out to be a wonderful choice. With the open fire lit, we were able to enjoy the dramatic weather from the panoramic windows. It felt quite magical.

On our first full day, a storm rolled in and we decided to stay indoors--which turned out to be a wonderful choice. With the open fire lit, we were able to enjoy the dramatic weather from the panoramic windows. It felt quite magical.
The only minor downside was that the upstairs shower lacked power and wasn’t particularly warm. However, this was easily offset by the second bathroom downstairs, which had a lovely shower and bath that we all really enjoyed.
A note for those with small dogs: while the grounds are beautiful, we needed to keep our dog on a lead as the gate onto the main road has gaps large enough for a small dog to slip through. This likely wouldn’t be an issue for larger dogs.
