“Lovely cottage , just what we needed ,peace and quiet .”

With the right management and updated interior the cottage would much improved . how ever i did enjoy my holiday . the owner did sort a problem with the down stairs mattress.

We were only too happy to purchase an extra mattress topper with same day delivery during your stay in order to ensure the additional comfort of one of your guests; guest satisfaction is of paramount important to us and we always aim to resolve any rare issues as promptly as possible. As it is a 250 year old cottage we have taken efforts to maintain the cottage's character and charm, whilst also providing all the modern conveniences our guests might require. Our excellent on-site property manager ensures that the paintwork and furnishings are kept in exemplary condition and that the cottage is kept very clean - we generally receive excellent feedback on these aspects. “Lovely cottage in a great location.”

Loved the sea views from the garden - perfect for watching the sunset. Cottage has loads of character and space for guests. Every room had a bathroom, which was handy. Kinmel Arms is just a short walk away with friendly bar staff and delicious food. Recommend the Sunday roast. Location is also handy for visiting Abergele and Colwyn Bay. We had a wonderful weekend!

“This property is beautiful even better than the photos.”

Very spacious and comfortable , lovely enclosed outdoor space perfect for our little Pomeranian to run around . A stones throw away from an inviting village pub . Sadly the bifold doors in the first reception room were not operational , it would have been nice to be able to open these up when the weather was nice (there is a door to the side of then to gain access to the garden) . That being said we still had a fantastic time and we really did not want to leave . We will most certainly be returning and for longer next time . Thank you

“We have just returned from a lovely, relaxing weekend in North Wales!”

The accomodation was perfect - exactly what we were after and more! Location was ideal as we have family in St George and friends in Mochdre. The accomodation was huge - like a tardis! There were 4 good sized bedrooms, 2 ensuite bathrooms and 2 additional bathrooms which was perfect for 7 of us! There was a huge kitchen with everything you need, a huge dining room where we enjoyed a family Easter dinner and 2 seating areas! Everything in the house was spotless! Truly a home from home! There was a beautiful sitting area outside where you can sit and look out on the water. Fantastic accomodation for a very decent price considering everything you get! We will definitely be back!

“Cottage lovely in nice location.”

We got lots of stings as the garden area had lots of overgrown nettle bushes around. One of the garden chairs was broken. Double gate to drive has gap under it so need to be careful with smaller breed dogs, rest of garden areas secure. Couldn't initially find appliance instructions. First time we haven't been left a welcome starter on arrival i.e. milk biscuits. Being all Vegan, we were not happy with down duvets and feather pillows. Could be a problem for those with allergies too. All in all though we would visit again, now that we are familiarised with the property.

“We recently stayed at Ty Croes, whilst working at Glan Clwyd Hospital, it’s a decent sized property with enough room for four contractors.”

It couldn’t be in a quieter location, there is a pub near by and it’s a couple of miles off of the main road, but it was ideal for us, offering flexible accommodation. I’d definitely book it again if we ever have to go back to work at Glan Clwyd.

The small village of Bodelwyddan is situated in the Vale of Clwyd and is known for Bodelwyddan Castle which is set in 260 acres of woods and parkland and is home to the National Portrait Gallery and St Margaret’s Church, nicknamed as The Marble Church which was built in 1856 and erected by Lady Willoughby de Broke. Bodelwyddan also has a pub, a selection of shops and a golf driving range. The nearby village of Rhuddlan has the remains of a castle that dates back to the 13th century and was built by Edward I. The area is renowned for scenic walks along the Clwydian Hill range or Offa’s Dyke pathway. Discover the nearby beaches of North Wales, the city of St Asaph and visit Victorian Llandudno, 16 miles away, with its famous promenade, or explore Conwy Castle, Bodnant Gardens or delightful Betws-y-Coed, the getaway to Snowdonia.
