“Greenacres really is a lovely property & we really enjoyed a nice relaxing long weekend there.”

We dropped on with the weather as it was meant to be raining a lot more than it was, but the mornings were gorgeous sunshine so got to spend some time at the beach (my happy place). I have had to take a star off however due to a few things that slightly disappointed me. On arrival I got the keys from the lock box & there were a lot of keys. It was dark when we arrived & there was no light in the porch so was trying to work out which keys I needed as the alarm was about to go off. There is a light in porch but had no bulb & no switch in the porch to put it on even if it had a bulb in. Eventually sorted it & turned the alarm off. Of all the keys, we only needed the 2 for the front doors while we were there as all the other doors have the keys in them already - so really no need to have that many on the bunch. Cleanliness was an issue too tbh, on the whole it was clean & smelt nice. However, the trap in the en suite shower was full of other people's hair & dirt - i had to take it out during a shower as the water wasnt draining through & honestly it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Also there was a lot of dust & dirt under the dresser in the main room, about 12 dead wood lice from the spider that was also under there. Quite a few cobwebs throughout too. The main room also had a bit of a funny smell to it & not nice like the other rooms. On the whole, it was a nice weekend & a good stay

Popular attractions in the town include The Tir Prince Leisure Park, a thrilling amusement park boasting the North West’s leading Harness Raceway, the largest outdoor weekly market in North Wales, and a range of rides for all the family, there's also Knightly's Fun Park, a family-friendly attraction with a funfair with a vibrant bar and restaurant. A short drive away is the Clwydian Mountain Range, several rolling hills based in north east Wales, running from Llandegla in the south to Prestatyn in the north, and the highest point Moel Famau, a very popular Christmas and New Years walking destination.
