    “The house is beautiful and the views are even better in real life.”

    The photos really do not do it justice. It completely exceeded our expectations. The location is ideal. It is quiet and peaceful, but you are still really close to everything, with the bay just a short stroll away. Inside, it feels really well thought through and finished to a high standard without feeling over the top. The beds were so comfortable, with lovely quality linen. We slept incredibly well, which does not always happen when you are away from home. The underfloor heating in parts ...

Inside, it feels really well thought through and finished to a high standard without feeling over the top. The beds were so comfortable, with lovely quality linen. We slept incredibly well, which does not always happen when you are away from home. The underfloor heating in parts of the house was also a really nice touch, especially on cooler mornings. It worked perfectly for us with our dog too. We walked him most days along the coastal path right outside the house and did not need to get in the car at all, which made things so easy. The welcome touches were very much appreciated. The wine and coffee for the bean to cup machine were a lovely surprise and such a nice way to start the stay. All in all, Bryniau feels like somewhere special, stylish, comfortable and in a fantastic spot. We would happily come back.

Within the coastal resort of Trearddur Bay, found on Holy Island, North Wales, is this stunning building offering a host of wonderful features and a luxury holiday home.Bryniau will impress you with its contemporary décor and attention to detail, suited to a large family or group looking to enjoy a holiday in North Wales.

Relax in the open-plan living space on the first-floor where a beautiful modern kitchen with ample appliances, a long beach wood style dining table with bench seating and a soft seating area all sit before full length windows looking out to the gorgeous sea views, providing a wonderful backdrop to your holiday.

Make the best memories out on the large balcony, with a special frameless glass barrier so nothing spoils your view, spread out on a sun lounger when the summer weather arrives and relax! A utility room for all of your laundry needs, a pantry and a cloakroom are on this floor too, before you reach the ground-floor garden wing, perfectly suited to the elderly, those less able or simply those who need a quiet space.It has a double bedroom with an en-suite accessible wet room, an open-plan living space with a kitchen, breakfast bar, TV and a sitting area with patio doors to the garden.

This space is is suitable for aged or ambulant disabled with level threshold access from the covered carport.

The rest of the bedrooms lie on the second floor, comprising two doubles, two twins both of which can be zip-linked as doubles, and a bunk room, all offering spectacular ocean views, with thoughtful décor and quality furnishings creating tranquil spots for you to unwind in at the end of the day.Two of the bedrooms have access to the upper balcony with frameless glass balustrade, which feels like being on the prow of a ship with Titanic views!

Freshen up in one of the gleaming bathrooms, one with a tap-less bath and hand-held shower, the other offering a contemporary shower room.A fantastic feature is located on the ground-floor; come in from the beach all sandy and sea watery, and head straight into the limestone wet room where two shower cubicles, a WC with basin and a dressing area provide the best spot for all to get cleaned up after a beach day, The Trearddur Bay beach has a long stretch of golden sands, with shops and pubs still nearby.You can head for some lunch in between sunbathing, or in the colder months take a brisk walk with a pint at the end of it.

A short drive will take you to Rhoscolyn, famous for its romantic sunsets, coastal walks and the dog friendly White Eagle pub, or simply explore the further reaches of this secluded island, a wildlife and nature haven.

TREARDDUR BAY

Holyhead 2 miles.

Trearddur Bay is situated on the western shore of Holy Island. It’s truly beautiful - a great sweep of low grassy coastline indented with rocky coves and fine sandy beaches (European Blue Flag). Watersports, bathing, sailing and windsurfing are the main activities in the summer months and golfers will enjoy the excellent Holyhead 18 hole links golf course. It’s a great place for nature lovers with renowned birdwatching at the South Stack Lighthouse RSPB Reserve and lots of rock pools and cliff top walks to explore. There are shops, pubs and restaurants in Trearddur Bay itself and nearby Holyhead offers a wider range of amenities, including a very good leisure centre, an interesting harbour front, a marina, the world’s second longest breakwater and exciting day trips to Dublin on the ferry. The Maritime Museum in Holyhead has an excellent cafe and the beautiful Holyhead Breakwater Country Park has walks for you to enjoy. Further afield there is the stunning Newborough with its excellent woodland and beach and Beaumaris with its town and castle. A great location with plenty to see and do!
