Llaniestyn is a small village situated centrally in the heart of the beautiful Llyn Peninsula renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walks. Close by is Botwnnog (2 miles), Abersoch (5.3 miles), Nefyn and Morfa Nefyn (5.7 miles) where you can enjoy the stunning beaches and watersports it has to offer particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing not to mention the surfing at Porth Neigiol (Hell’s Mouth beach) Just 6 miles away, sandwiched between two glorious bays, the attractive town of Abersoch is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and hosts numerous sailing regattas throughout the summer months. A wide variety of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés cater for all tastes, whilst water sports enthusiasts are spoilt for choice with fabulous windsurfing, waterskiing, sailing, diving and surfing opportunities. With the long, sandy Warren Beach, the sheltered sands at Porth Bach and the terrific, high cliffs at Port Ceriad or Sandy Port Oer “whistling sands” nearby.
