“All we can say is WOW!”

From the moment we booked to our departure we were well looked after by Mark & Sharon. Nothing was too much trouble and the attention to detail was incredible. The property itself is outstanding in all aspects, spotlessly clean, had everything you could wish for and a fully stocked fridge when we arrived! “Where do I start!”

What an amazing stay, the hosts Sharon and Mark couldn’t have made it more enjoyable for our Christmas stay. We had a fantastic break, we came with our grandchildren and adult children 1 of which is a wheelchair user and has severe disabilities. The property was perfect and accessible, Mark and Sharon made sure there was everything there, including sensory lights for our son. We all had an amazing time and would love to book again the place and surrounding area is beautiful xx

“We stayed at ‘Top of the Lane’ on the 3rd Oct 2025.”

We visited as a family of 3 generations and 3 doggy babies - What can I say …….it was out of this world from the minute we arrived until we left 7 days later. Mark and Sharon are amazing hosts who go above and beyond , from the personal welcome on arrival , the fantastic welcome hamper ( doggy goodies included) to the beautiful unexpected flowers on the last night . Nothing was too much trouble for this amazing couple. The luxury - and we mean LUXURY accommodation and facilities were above anything we have ever experienced before .Every part of the accommodation was spotlessly clean Mark and Sharon have thought of everything you could possibly need to make your stay perfect in every-way. They have created a tranquil piece of paradise on the beautiful Isle of Angelsey . The secure garden and outside space allowed us to relax and not worry about our fur babies escaping . The laser light show, and outside lighting looked amazing in the dark and added that extra touch of luxury. The excellent information file made sure we had the best time and visited great places from the local walks and beaches to the best places to eat . This little gem is a must if you want a fantastic relaxing holiday , without the day to day stresses of everyday life . We will be back Mark and Sharon xxxx

“Wow, what an absolutely Stunning property.”

We had a wonderful stay, at Top of the Lane Luxury Apartment. Everything about it is Beautiful. Highest spec, inside and outside. Absolutely everything you could need and more. So spacious and comfortable throughout. The gardens are Beautiful. Sharon & Mark really go above and beyond, to ensure that you have the best stay. Nothing is too much trouble to them, at all. The day after we arrived, Mark actually laid a pathway outside the entrance to the apartment, to ensure our Son, who is a Wheelchair User, had easier access, once he got out of the car. A ramp and shower chair, were also provided. Plenty of recommendations from Mark& Sharon, for places to visit and places to eat, on Anglesey. The Welcome pack, was Amazing. The best we’ve ever seen. You won’t get better, than this, anywhere. We would recommend Top of the Lane, 100%. Flowers from Mark and Sharon, at the end of our holiday, a lovey touch. We look forward to returning, next year. “Well what can we say!”

Our 2nd trip to the Top of the Lane didn’t disappoint! Mark and Sharon are superb hosts, nothing is too much trouble. Our daughter celebrated a birthday whilst there and thoughtfully a helium ballon and card was delivered. We were a party of 6 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs. There is so much room and it is pretty soundproof. There is everything you need for your stay! A very generous welcome pack. Plenty of towels, toilet paper, dishwasher/washing machine tablets, condiments etc We made use of the barbecue and the garden is safe and secure for the dogs with outdoor toys for children. The beach, shops and pubs are easy walking distance. We will definitely return, maybe not next year as we fancy Norfolk for a change but hopefully in a couple of years. Book this holiday home from home and you don’t be disappointed!!

“The accommodation is beautiful, spacious, extremely well equipped, high specification and has an excellent standard of cleanliness.”

It offers different seating areas, allowing the party space to do their own thing, whilst still being together. The views are spectacular. The garden is a gorgeous space, peaceful, enclosed and safe for our three little dogs, well kept and has really comfortable furniture. The owners are very friendly and attentive, nothing is too much trouble. The welcome pack for ourselves and our dogs was unbelievable, we’ve never received anything like it before. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

“Wow what can I say absolutely stunning property and a credit to the owners , everything was perfect .”

One of our family is disabled and this was catered for throughout the property which made our stay just perfect . Everything you could wish for in a property was provided to the highest standard , there was also an amazing welcome pack in the fridge which was great and very generous even a treat for the dog , the owners have thought of everything. Perfect location and stunning views and surrounding beaches , lots of walks and recommendations for places to visit and eat .We also had the executive chefs one evening that the owners recommended and it was truly fantastic and a great experience and would highly recommend. Everything was fantastic , so fantastic we book for next year and this time for 2 weeks as one was not long enough in this stunning property. Thank you Mark and Sharon for making it perfect.

Sharon and Mark, our hosts are attentive, generous, kind and pay attention to every detail. The apartment is spacious, immaculately clean ,comfortably furnished with all the features you need. The garden area is a real sun spot, and perfect place for outdoor entertainment and eating. It’s also beautiful of an evening with plenty of lighting and beautiful views. Ideal location for exploring Anglesey, close to everything no matter what the weather conditions. Although you may not want to leave your lovely accommodation. Well what can I say ! The place is absolutely awesome,by far the best place that my wife and I have ever stayed. Everything you would need is there,the beds are comfortable it's well equipped for everything. Mark & Sharon where excellent hosts they met us on the first day to explain how everything worked and where things where in the apartment. The welcome pack was the best as we wasn't expecting one ,everything you would need for the first day and beyond. They really have thought of everything to make your stay the best it can be. We were welcomed on arrival by the owners, Mark and Sharon, and their obvious care for the property was matched by their desire for us to have an enjoyable stay. The house is beautifully appointed, well-equipped and very spacious. We wanted for nothing! Sharon and Mark were on hand if we did need anything; they were never intrusive but their knowledge, advice and many little kindnesses were much appreciated. What a beautiful property tucked away and yet in a convenient location. Mark and Sharon the hosts were extremely helpful and provide a more than generous welcome pack. The apartment is very well equipped and we really felt at home there. The garden is very safe for dogs and has stunning views out to sea. The spacious, ground floor property is ideal for guests requiring accessibility and multiple aids are freely available. The quality of fittings, furnishings and appliances is outstanding and should any maintenance issues arise they are promptly dealt with. The welcome pack that you will find in the fridge will take your breath away and the modern kitchen facilities are excellent. You will find no tired furniture, scuffed walls, ill fitting doors, worn out beds or scraped / dinted kitchenware here; you will be comfortable, cozy, relaxed and adequately entertained by the comprehensive TV system. The delightful garden is well furnished and maintained and is most pleasant to sit in, when weather permits, and take in the view towards the Great Orme across the water. Sharron & Mark are perfect hosts and deserve to be congratulated for the memorable holiday experience that they enthusiastically provide.

“What a wonderful holiday home!”

We were greeted by Mark and Sharon who showed us around the property. Everything that could have been thought of for a holiday cottage, had been! A starter pack of goodies in the fridge. Tea/coffee/sugar supplied. Dishwasher tabs etc. Hand soap and loo rolls in each toilet. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery/pans/cutlery and condiments. The bathrooms were stocked with plentiful towels. Basically just pack your clothes and wash bag and turn up! Even though we were a party of 6 adults and 2 small children the noise insulation between the rooms was great. It was so spacious to allow both TVs at opposite ends of the open plan living space to be on at the same time without being bothersome to the people watching the TVs. Mark and Sharon were on hand for any queries but otherwise we did not hear them or their 2 dogs even though they were living above us. The garden is fully enclosed. There is a washing line but also a tumble drier as sadly the weather was against us for outside drying of clothes! The property is warm and well insulated with extra fires should you need them. The rise/recliner chairs were great for feeding the baby we had with us or if you had a relative with reduced mobility. Plenty of parking for 3 cars. The village and beach were easily accessible by foot or car. Lots of great places to eat or go for drinks. Can’t recommend this place highly enough for a multi generational family holiday and if we decide to come back to Anglesey it will be our first choice!

Absolutely loved our week away at this property. Took advantage of the electric scooter down to the beach. Very central to everything and a gorgeous area of Anglesey. Can recommend Finneys for fish and chips, dog friendly Breeze Hill Hotel for local drinks and food. The Oyster Catcher is a car journey away but worth it. Mark and Sharon go out of their way to ensure guests have everything they need. You can tell they really care that you have the best experience, and they're on hand if you have any issues (we didn't) or questions. The apartment is spacious, brilliantly equipped and comfortable with a secure garden and ample parking. Benllech itself has plenty of places to eat and drink, including takeaways, and a great butcher who make their own 'ready meals' Great local walks and places to visit within a short drive. From the detailed directions (including a drone flyover), the bumper welcome pack and the effort made throughout the week (without being intrusive) our party could not have been better looked after. The pictures on the website accurately show how nice the property is in both presentation and location. One of our party has more physical challenges than their usual guests and Mark was discussing how he would be able to improve the access for the future. The facilities were perfect and our hosts were so very helpful. With everything on one level meant it was perfect for my husband with disabilities. “Our stay felt very much like a home from home.”

The apartment provides everything that a family or large group needs for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The location is tranquil and private but only a 15 minute walk from Benllech village and the lovely, sandy beach. N.B. The walk is uphill on the way back but fine for casual walkers. The view from the apartment is stunning. All our requirements were met: on site parking, excellent comfortable beds, good quality bed linen & towels, more than ample supply of loo roll, dishwasher (a must when there are 6 or more of you), washing machine, separate dryer, clothes horse, TVs (think there were about 7!), WiFi, fully equipped kitchen (tea & coffee included) with an air fryer, double oven, large fridge freezer, a large conservatory with amazing views (the sea in the distance) a private fenced garden, outside seating, sun loungers, bbq and the list goes on. All excellent. Our hosts Sharon & Mark greeted us, as Sharon had already contacted us for a lovely chat and to confirm our approximate time of arrival. We had a very warm welcome and were shown the amenities of the apartment. The couple also provided us with THE most generous welcome pack of food that we have ever experienced in our holiday lets over the years. We had milk, butter, bread, bottled water, orange juice, bacon, sausage, eggs, beer & wine. Absolutely amazing after a long journey to think there was no need to head to a shop. Thank you both. We found it ideal that Sharon and Mark were readily available if required but we also had total privacy and only saw them again on our day of departure. Sharon & Mark should be proud of providing a high quality and well considered holiday apartment. We have no hesitation in recommending “Top of the Lane” for a luxury, peaceful, well located holiday in Anglesey. We wish Sharon and Mark continued success and hope to visit again in the future.

Our family had a wonderful time, the apartment is clean, spacious and has everything you need and more! It is a home away from home and nothing is too much trouble for the lovely owners who provided us with additional mobility items for my 85 year old father in law. It’s a perfect place for a family to connect and relax, with a spacious garden, BBQ and outdoor seating area, it’s close to local beaches and attractions. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it, especially for those who need accessibility as it’s all on the ground floor and has walk in showers. “We originally dismissed this property this for our holiday because it said apartment and we have 2 barky dogs.”

.but thank god we went back to it, We where the first to stay with dogs ,and from the moment we arrived we knew it was going to be a fantastic stay. Mark and Sharon met us ,( they live next door ) and showed us around ,The space WOW ..tvs galore ..and an enclosed garden ,They assured us that barking wouldnt be a problem as it had soundproofing and they wouldnt hear us . We also had my elderly in laws with us for the first week and was offered many mobility aids by Mark and Sharon to make their stay easier..one level living but with masses of room ..Loved the arm chairs that had heat and would move you up to standing position if needed ! Combined with a lovely and generous welcome package it was an amazing first impression ..and that carried on for the full 14 days ! Benllech was a fabulous base for exploring the island ..especially the beaches . The hosts are not invasive in anyway but eager to help if we needed anything . We have been staying in holiday homes all over the uk for years with our pooches ,but this has got to be the top one that catered for ALL our needs no matter what age . Mark and Sharon you are amazing. Anyone who books Top of the lane ,wont be dissapointed!

When we arrived we were greeted my the owners who made us feel extremely welcome. The house was clean and exactly as described. It had everything to create a home from home environment. The spacious living area was perfect for our group and the children took full advantage of the conservatory where they could play their games and have fun. We couldn’t not mentioned the generous welcome pack left for us on arrival. We have stayed at a few properties and never have we had such a thoughtful pack of goodies. “Absolutely gorgeous place and lovely hosts.”

Sharon and mark are just the most loveliest people, they live above so are at hand if needed but not at all intrusive. There was beer, wine, sausages, bacon, eggs, bread and milk which was a welcome surprise and took out the stress for the first night. The dogs Daisy and Mia were great fun the kids loved playing with them. Wonderful facilities, everything you need. Beautiful beaches in this area so we didn’t have to go far. Places to eat…there was 7 of us and we did struggle to get booked in at some of the most popular places so plan ahead if your stopping in the main school holidays and reserve a table early if there’s somewhere you really want to try… Always found something mind just a short drive away. Comfortable beds, good showers. Ironing board, iron, hairdryer are also provided. Sad to leave, would of stayed longer but will definitely be booking for next year

“A lovely family break in a beautifully equipped, clean and spacious accommodation.”

The garden was excellent and safe for young children with games and equipment provided. The fridge was stocked with food and a pack of beer, all gratefully received. Mark’s advice and suggestions for places to visit were extremely helpful and Sharon even arranged for a tyre fitter to collect and repair a puncture on one of our cars. Nothing was too much trouble and it was delightful for one of our party to meet fellow SAfa’s. The Boerewors provided for the braai was unexpected and delicious.Thank you.

“We have all loved staying at Top Of The Lane holiday apartment as a family!”

Mark and Sharon have catered for all our needs as a family of 9. 3 young children and 1 adult with mobility needs. They kindly provided us with a raised toilet seat and shower seat. Their was also a rolater and 2 mobility scooters which were available if we needed them. The house was amazing with so much space, extremely well equipped including an air fryer, slow cooker and a pressure cooker. Anything we needed was provided straight away. The property had a good size enclosed lawn area. We all especially appreciated the children's toys, games food and drink on arrival. All the thought and care that had clearly gone into making this a home from home. Thank you once again Mark & Sharon

Everything was provided to help the time with our family to enjoy. “Top of the Lane is very well appointed with plenty of spacious sitting and eating areas -we were just 3 but it wouldn't feel at all crowded at full capacity.”

Sharon & Mark are lovely hosts, there if needed but not intrusive. and they provided an extremely generous 'welcome pack' - fridge virtually full! ! It's quiet so very relaxing - just what we wanted after our days out.

“Having booked several holidays through Sykes I can say that this particular holiday destination is at the top of my favourites list.”

The owners, Mark & Sharon have made the very spacious apartment a wonderful place to stay for their guests. The fridge had been stocked with sausages, bacon, eggs, bread, bottle of wine and a case of beer which was hugely appreciated by our group. We were made to feel very special throughout our stay. The facilities at the spacious property are comprehensive and well maintained. The real bonus were the aids that were available for my 82 yo mother in law who has mobility issues. These aids really helped to make the property a true home from home and I really wish Sykes would make it easier to search for such properties. A wonderful week and I'm sure we will return.

“We stayed for seven nights with our two children and their cousins.”

The guest facilities were absolutely fantastic with a smart TV in every room. The garden was expansive and beautifully kept and a great place for the kids to run around. The beach was only five minutes away and shops even closer. Mark and Sharon were fantastic hosts always on hand to help with any queries, but not at all intrusive. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable, even stocking the fridge with food so that we could relax when we arrived on the first night. Wonderful accommodation and wonderful hosts. Will definitely be staying here again!

“Perfect Family Getaway tucked away in Benllech with stunning views of the Bay and Sunrise.”

We came for the weekend to bring my mother who had recently been diagnosed with a brain tumour. Mark and Sharon went above and beyond to facilitate everything she needed, and the apartment was absolutely brilliant for her to get around. Not only that all the younger members of our family, absolutely loved the place as well. The garden is spacious and the views are beautiful, the apartment itself is immaculately clean and really well appointed. Bedrooms super comfortable. Fab Showers. Kitchen great - lovely lighting. The beach and Bay are both gorgeous and walking distance. There are pubs and great restaurants but we loved the apartment so much we stayed in 2 of the 3 nights. There was 9 of us and we had so much space - it was a really relaxing vibe. We simply can’t thank Mark & Sharon enough for the care and attention to detail, even allowing us to check out late so we didn’t have to rush. “Just book it!”

You will not be disappointed. The accommodation is second to none in terms of facilities, cleanliness and location. Sharon and Mark were the perfect hosts, they gave us a genuinely warm welcome. They were so attentive without being invasive. We were celebrating a family birthday and they even arranged for drinks to be sent over the Breeze Hill Hotel where we enjoyed a top draw celebratory meal. We had an amazing 7 nights stay and would strongly recommend Top of the lane Apartment. It would be difficult to find anything better.
