“Despite the cottage being warm and cosy coupled with its great location and handy parking, there were a number of aspects that let it down.”

The cottage is extremely small, especially upstairs with only the front bedroom being adequate. The other two upstairs rooms are tiny and dark, one being used as a general dumping ground for various un-used bits of furniture and the other, (allegedly a double bedroom) is so small, even a cat would struggle to find it comfortable. There is an absence of natural light within the dwelling:- other than the front bedroom we had to have lights on in all other locations all of the time. There is a total lack of information with respect to the appliances such as the TV with its two remote controls (both of which needed fresh batteries before they became functional). There is no information on how the totally weird and erratic hob works as well a few others items which could benefit from some simple operation instructions. However the main issue is the shower and the shower "room". The "room" that the shower is housed in is so small, one can hardly turn round and it is like bathing in a wet coffin. (We think the "room" was originally an airing-cupboard) again with no natural light. Finally, the front gate was broken. This was an issue for us since we had our dog with us and hence had to stay outside with her each time she went out. All in all, we were disappointed with the property and one which did not justify its price tag. It should only be marketed as able to accommodate two adults and (maybe) one child, (as long as the child didn't mind sleeping in the dark and dingy back bedroom).
