The property

The Mill is a beautifully restored 18th-century woollen mill, nestled within the expansive grounds of Pandy Mill in Caergeiliog on the Isle of Anglesey.

One of four characterful conversions on the site, this inviting one-bedroom retreat is ideal for couples seeking a serene escape steeped in history and natural beauty.

The river Crigyll meanders nearby, while gardens famed for their vibrant spring daffodils create a timeless setting.

Once used for fulling wool cloth, The Mill has been thoughtfully transformed into a spacious two-storey holiday home, blending original charm with modern comforts.

The ground floor boasts a striking full-height open-plan living space, complete with a well-equipped kitchen featuring a cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, kettle, and toaster.

A dining area offers the perfect spot for relaxed meals, while the sitting area invites you to unwind on the large sofa and enjoy the Smart TV.

Upstairs, the crogloft bedroom overlooks the living space and hosts a generous king-size bed, complemented by a sleek en-suite shower room.

Outside, guests can explore the picturesque grounds, listen to the gentle flow of the river, and soak up the seasonal colours of this enchanting landscape.

Note: This property can be booked with Ref. 1192448, together sleeping up to four guests.

About the location

CAERGEILIOG

Trearddur Bay 5 miles; Rhosneigr 8 miles.

The small village of Caergeiliog is situated close to the wonderfully scenic west coastline on the Isle of Anglesey, between Trearddur Bay and Rhosneigr, both of which are very popular seaside villages. The area is truly beautiful - a great sweep of low grassy coastline indented with rocky coves and fine sandy beaches (European Blue Flag and Green Coast Award). Watersports, bathing, fishing, sailing, windsurfing and plane spotting at RAF Valley are the main activities in the summer months, and golfers will enjoy two excellent 18 hole links golf courses. It's a great place for nature lovers, with renowned birdwatching at the South Stack Lighthouse RSPB Reserve and at Valley Lakes, as well as lots of rock pools and scenic cliff top walks to explore. There are shops, pubs and restaurants in nearby Rhosneigr and Trearddur Bay, plus Holyhead offers a wider range of amenities, including a very good leisure centre, an interesting harbour front, a marina, the world’s second longest breakwater and exciting day trips to Dublin on the fast ferry.
