Our second visit to Bryn Teg, it's a beautiful cottage, in an amazing place.

The owner Gwen is brilliant too. Can't praise everything enough.

The cottage was well equipped and in an ideal location to explore the surrounding area.

Everything was as described in the listing and the cottage was very clean.

This is a lovely cottage with views over the beautiful Menai Straits and beyond to the mountains.

It is very well equipped with comfortable sofas and beds and two bathrooms. The location is superb, tucked away on a quiet lane with very little traffic and yet close to the amenities of Menai Bridge town and a Waitrose! Gwen, the owner, was very helpful and communicative. We look forward to our next visit…..

We had a wonderful week staying at Bryn Teg Cottage over the Easter holidays.

The cottage is very comfortable and well presented and in a great location with views between the trees over the beautiful Menai Straits and Snowdonia. It was wonderful to be able to go for walks straight from the cottage, or take the car to explore the many gorgeous beaches and other attractions nearby. We loved the walk to the island through Newborough Forest and back along the beach. And we highly recommend Dylan’s in nearby Menai Bridge. Communication with Gwen was great throughout and we can’t wait to visit this lovely island again!

Comfortable, very well-equipped, homely cottage in a good location for exploring Anglesey and easy access to the mainland.

FABULOUS!

Lovely, cosy cottage with views to the Straits from the sun trap balcony patio - I even saw red squirrels jumping through the trees!! Cottage is spacious, airy and flooded with light. A fab place to unwind and shake off the stresses of modern life. Amazing far reaching views from the loft Velux window - I wish I could paint!!! For sun worshippers, you have the sun in the morning at the back of the cottage and then you can catch the last of the evening sun on the bench at the front of the property listening to the birds and the wind through the rushes - so relaxing. Very stylish decor and particularly liked the seascape artwork in every room - very soothing. Beds are super comfy, a good night's sleep assured. Hive heating ensures cottage is toasty on a cool evening and morning. Well equipped kitchen with all utensils for those who like to cook. Two modern showers and bath with constant hot water. Easy car parking just a few steps from the cottage. Very conveniently located for Menai Bridge and Beaumaris either walking or driving. Owner, Gwen, is super helpful, friendly and approachable via WhatsApp. Would highly recommend this cottage to all those who love a hideaway but not remote from all conveniences. Lovely comfortable beds. Kitchen is well equipped and living area very comfortable. Nice walk into Beaumaris on the costal path and also into Menai Bridge. The owner always messages to welcome us back

Comfortable bedrooms on the second floor with a spotlessly clean bathroom, with stunning views towards The Straits. A handy second shower room on the lower ground floor. The cottage has a lovely outdoor space at the back, with a great decking area which gets the morning sun and is a real suntrap, again with views towards The Straits. Great location, to explore the island from. Would definitely stay at Bryn Teg again.

Absolutely wonderful stay in Bryn Teg.

A delightful cottage perfectly placed in between the lovely bustling Menai Bridge and stunning Beaumaris, ideal location for exploring the island. Clean and cosy and lovely welcome with Welsh cakes, delicious. Great contact with Gwen. Perfect.

Bryn Teg is in the ideal area to explore Anglesey and North West Wales.

The property is very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our week's stay. Unfortunately I tripped over on the speed bump on the lane leading from the parking area up to the cottage and hurt my toe which made it difficult getting up and down the stairs. I would not recommend for someone with a walking difficulty.

Cosy, well equipped, spotlessly clean cottage in a great location to explore the island.

Gwen was superb to deal with, from sending the information details early so we could plan trips and know all the cottage info, to responding when we had a query whilst there. Had a fabulous stay here, and would like to return in the future.

This is an extremely comfortable, light and airy cottage.

It has lovely views from the top two floors and is well situated between Menai Bridge (which you can walk to) and Beaumaris. We visited the Gazelle hotel for a really good meal and good views, it is in walking distance. The only issue for us was we didn't like parking in the steep field opposite but we always found spaces at the bottom of the hill. There is a nice short walk up the hill to the village at the top, which has a small shop, then back down on a different road. We visited Menai which has great cafes and restaurants, Beaumaris and Llandudno which were all fun days out, with our teenagers. They especially enjoyed the Rib Ride at Menai which is next to a good restaurant called Dylans.

Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday for the second year in succession at Bryn Teg.

Perfectly located within striking distance of both Menai and Beaumaris, and a gentle uphill stroll away from the nearest little village shop in Llandegfan. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely time at Bryn Teg cottage, the cottage is very well equipped, and very comfortable, the beds and bedding were really cosy.

The property is like a tardis , and has fabulous views over the Menai Sraits. Fabulous position for exploring Angelsey and also North Wales. Would highly recommend.

We recently stayed here and the house is clean and comfortable.

We had a lovely time and the outside area is really tranquil.

We were really pleased with the house.

The reason I only gave an 8, was because we found the parking and unpacking quite difficult, so I might not recommend that. Also, we didn’t take our dog in the end but I was glad we didn’t because he would have been too bouncy for the garden, it would be a good garden for a smaller/older dog. The house was warm and very comfortable, with lovely views. The location was excellent, and quiet. My only bugbear is that usually when staying at cottages we get some butter provided!

A really lovely cosy cottage, perfectly situated for our Welsh coast walks, as just 2 minutes off the path between Beaumaris and Menai Bridge and easy to find.

Great views too. Kitchen was well equipped for us to cook there and the beds were very comfy for a good sleep after our walks. A great base to visit Anglesey and the mainland too as not far from the bridges.

Thank you for a lovely stay, the home was really nice and great for the week we had planned away as a family.

Lovely cottage, very clean and with everything you might need.

Gwen was brilliant from start to finish. Great location, easy walk to and from the Gazelle which was welcoming and the food was delicious.

Lovely accommodation, very comfortable and big enough for our family of five plus dog.

Enjoyed sitting outside for breakfast and the kids loved the jigsaw and Netflix. Handily placed to get around Anglesey and great views of the straits from the road outside.Never had a problem parking, always a space in the car park. Really impressed with the communication with the owner, who quickly got back to answer any questions. Would def recommend.

Bryn Teg is a lovely cottage - spotless and beautifully appointed.

It was a little bolt hole for us while visiting poorly parents and was perfect for us. There are lovely accessible walks. Menai Bridge is 15-20 minutes walk and Beaumaris is accessible across back fields for a longer walk if you don’t want to use the car. Gwen is so so helpful and I can’t thank her enough . Hoping to be back in Sept / Oct . It is my homeland and a beautiful location.

Our fifth consecutive year staying at lovely Bryn Teg Cottage- so that should tell you how good it is!

A very kind welcome pack was waiting on arrival! We (5 adults and a border collie) love it here- it feels like home! A great spot and a really comfy and well-equipped cottage. Great fridge and cupboard space for the weekly shop (Sainsbury’s online delivery booked for arrival) as we cook and eat at the cottage except for the last night! Lovely neighbours, who we are now friends with. Will be back again next year! Thanks Gwen, for your beautiful cottage

Beautiful cottage, spotlessly clean.

Well stocked kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Very comfortable beds with lovely bedding. Great patio area for morning coffee or an evening drink. The only problem I had was the stairs although the rest of my family were fine. They are very steep so not ideal for people with mobility issues. Great location with beautiful views. Would definitely recommend The Gazelle Pub serving great food and fabulous views.

We had a lovely week.

The cottage was great just what we wanted. The TV was brilliant, perfect for a rainy day. Not that we had many. Very lucky with the weather. Great base for the coastal paths. Highly recommend The Ship Inn at Red Wharf Bay.

We had lovely three night stay at this beautiful little cottage, which is in a great location between Menai Bridge and Beaumaris.

Perhaps the only suggestion I could make would be to provide fans for the bedrooms as the weather was so warm

Property is beautiful and situated in such a nice place.

The whole house has been finished to a high standard with all the facilities you need plus more such as blankets on cool nights, clothes washing facilities and plenty of cooking equipment. Also loved the local recommendations that the owner left, the most extensive I've come across so you won't be short of things to do. Only a 20 minute walk to Menai town where there are nice walks and plenty of places to eat and drink. The Gazelle pub ten minutes away with great food and incredible views.

Brilliant weeks stay in this lovely cottage!

We loved morning coffee on the balcony in the sunshine. Amazing views whilst in the bath! The cottage had everything we required for a holiday with our 1 year old. We would definitely recommend staying here. We visited all of Anglesey from this base including Treaddur Bay, southstack, Moelfre, Benllech, beaumaris, red wharf bay and Rhosneigr. Definitely recommend a visit to Pili Palas if you have children.

A lovely cottage in a brilliant location, we really enjoyed our stay and we were able to explore different parts of the area each day.

The beds were very comfortable and the cottage was very clean and well equipped, we also enjoyed the views from the bedroom windows.

We had the best of times at Bryn Teg, the cottage was warm and welcoming, sparklingly clean with the most comfortable beds.

There were four adults for our visit, but the children would have adored the ‘den’ bedroom on the top floor - so we will be back!

I have just spent a lovely New Year in Bryn Teg cottage.

The cottage was very clean and cozy .The beds were very comfortable and we all had a good night sleep . There was everything we needed with a well equipped kitchen. Plenty of pubs and restaurants in nearby Menai and Beaumaris. Plenty of nearby walks both beaches and hills .I would certainly love to return .

We had a lovely week at Bryn Teg cottage.

Clean throughout, very well-equipped kitchen with everything you might need, comfy beds with plenty of pillows etc provided and the 4 storey layout/loft room was a big hit with the kids (11/13/16) - even with 5 of us and a dog we never felt cramped. Having two showers is also a bonus with a family. The owner, Gwen, emailed once we'd arrived to check everything was ok with the cottage (which it was), and it was reassuring to know she was contactable if there had been a problem. We could happily have stayed longer!

Home from home! A lovely welcome pack including some biscuit treats for our dog, Hugo. Best equipped kitchen in the holiday cottages I’ve stayed in especially the size of the fridge freezer. Comfy beds for a great night’s sleep after exploring some of our favourite spots as well as some new ones on this beautiful island- my happy place! An extremely comfortable and well equipped cottage in a fantastic location.

The perfect place to unwind after a stressful couple of years! It’s a cottage that people want to return to- the comments in the visitors book prove that this is the case- and that’s something that (hopefully) we’ll do too!

Lovely cottage in pleasant spot.

Feel should be a minimum age suggested for the eves bedrooms.Our 9 year old was ok but a nightmare keeping the 4 year old away from the exciting stairs! Similarly the garden was a little problematic with the 4 year old. Overall we really enjoyed the cottage.

The cottage is lovely and comfortable and well equipped.

Its easy to walk into Menai and also Beaumaris although it took about an hour going via the road at the top of the lane, lovely views that way and only a little traffic Cant wait to visit again.

basmenttoilet & sink not draining properly . make certain you bring enough groceries for the first 2days. Shops a drive away. Otherwise very nice.

This is a lovely cottage - really comfortable and in a great position with views to the Menai Straits and the mountains.

My teenagers and my Border Collie love staying there, as do I. It’s really become a home from home! Brilliantly comfortable beds and the perfect terrace for a peaceful breakfast before everyone else is up. The owner, Gwen is so helpful. We’ll be back! Diolch, Gwen!

We found the cottage clean and comfortable for two of us and a dog.

The location is great - with easy access to all parts of the island. I don't think it's entirely accurate to describe the cottage as having 'views of the Menai Strait' and it would be quite cramped for 6 to stay here. We enjoyed our stay - diolch!

From start to finish this holiday was perfect x Booking was so easy.

The cottage was warm and welcoming and had everything we needed the beds were comfy which is not always the case, had a really lovely time

A fabulous cottage- both my teenagers were impressed and would stay there again!

Great for our 1 year old Border Collie, Hugo. Great kitchen for cooking our meals. Lovely neighbours at number 1 too. Had noticed a previous guest's comment about parking but found the patch further down the lane and once I'd got the manouver of reversing in I found it fine; just pulled up outside the cottage to unload on arrival. I would definitely return!

The cottage was lovely and just right for my husband and I.

We had my friend and her son visit us for a few days and they stayed in the twin rooms and found them very comfortable. The neighbours in the top cottage were lovely and gave us tips on where to visit which was really helpful

The property was advertised as having private parking but this wasn’t the case.

The car parking space allocated to the property was always in use by another car. There is additional parking down the road but This needs clarifying on the website. Frustrating when we thought we had paid for private parking. Apart from this the cottage was perfect. Anglesey is a wonderful island and cottage is beautiful and homely.

We absolutely loved this cottage and felt that the owners had made every effort to think about the comfort of the guests staying - it was a very special and happy break for me, my mum and my dog!

We had a lovely weeks holiday exploring Anglesey from here.

We visited Rhosneigr, Beaumaris, Newborough Nature Reserve and a walk to the lighthouse. The house was comfortable and the art appreciated! We had a lovely meal at the Liverpool Arm, Beaumaris on a Friday!.

We loved staying in Bryn Teg Cottage - What a joy to wake up to the view of the straits and mountains in the distance at Trwyn y Penrhyn (made even better by the sauna run by the lovely couple called Matt and Bran) and also at Porth Eilian near Amlwch.

Had good food with fabulous views at the Gazelle just down the road from the cottage. We'd love to return! P.s for history fans we were amazed by Din Lligwy hut near Moelfre.
