Anglesey Christmas Markets
Beaumaris Victorian Christmas
Where? Beaumaris, Anglesey

Step back in time for a magical weekend at Beaumaris Victorian Christmas. Taking place throughout the town on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey, this free festive event brings Victorian charm to the streets with traditional costumes, market stalls, seasonal treats, live music and entertainment.
Expect horse and carriage rides, brass bands, festive street entertainment and plenty of Christmas cheer, with appearances from Queen Victoria and Santa Claus adding to the celebrations. It’s a wonderful festive weekend for the whole family in the heart of Beaumaris.
Be sure to explore Beaumaris afterwards, where you can see the town’s grand castle, Beaumaris Gaol and Court, enjoy brisk walks along the seafront, or enjoy a meal at The Midland Tapas and Wine Bar.
Tre-Ysgawen Hall Christmas Market

Get into the festive spirit with some Christmas shopping in a country house setting at the Tre-Ysgawen Hall Christmas Market.
Browse local stalls selling handmade crafts, unique gifts, jewellery, accessories, Christmas decorations, candles, homeware, and artisan food and festive treats, with seasonal food and drink available on site.

Gwynedd Christmas Markets
Where? Caernarfon, Gwynedd
When? Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th of November 2026
Time? TBC
Entry? £2 per person (free for under 3s)
Since 2019, Adra has organised the popular Glynllifon Craft and Food Fair, showcasing the best of Welsh produce, from handmade crafts and gifts to delicious local food and drink. It’s one of the first Christmas fairs of the season, so it’s the perfect place to start your Christmas shopping.
Held around the courtyard at Parc Glynllifon, the fair has around 90 stalls, all Welsh. Expect live music and entertainment, a food village serving hot food and drinks, and a magical Santa’s Grotto for the whole family. Well-behaved dogs on short leads are welcome.
Good to know before you go: phone signal can be patchy, so bring cash. Parking is limited, so use the free shuttle bus from Balaclava Road in Caernarfon (near Apollo Bingo). It runs every 20 minutes, with the first bus at 9:40am.
Where? Portmeirion, Gwynedd
When? Friday 4th, Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th of December 2026
Time? Gates open 9:30am and close at 5:30pm
If you’re after a festive day out packed with local flavour, the Portmeirion Christmas Fair is not to be missed. Formerly the Portmeirion Food & Craft Fair, this much-loved annual event brings together the best of Welsh food, drink, gifts, and entertainment, all set within the enchanting village of Portmeirion.
Wander through artisan stalls showcasing Welsh produce and handmade crafts, enjoy a programme of live entertainment (the full line-up is due closer to the event), and soak up the magical Christmas atmosphere.
Christmas-themed menus will be available in the village’s restaurants, so it’s the perfect place to eat, drink, and be merry in the build-up to Christmas.
Good to know before you go: tickets are sold on the day only, at the village tollbooths (cash or card), and children aged 4 and under go free. Parking is very limited, so use the free shuttle bus from Porthmadog (9am to 6pm), which leaves from outside The Australia Inn on the High Street. You can park for free at Llyn Bach car park.
Abersoch Christmas Weekend
Where? Abersoch, Llyn Peninsula, Gwynedd
When? Friday 4th to Sunday 6th of December 2026

Our next Christmas market in North Wales takes place along the breathtaking Llyn Peninsula. Abersoch comes alive with Christmas magic for a weekend at the beginning of December.
Expect Christmas shopping, festive food and drink, local businesses, and plenty of Christmas cheer.
The full 2026 programme is still to be announced, but last year’s festival included Santa arriving on the Abersoch fire engine, late-night shopping, a Christmas Fair in the village hall, Santa’s Grotto, face painting, a lantern parade led by the Batala Drumming Band, and a Sunday tractor parade through the villages.

Conwy Christmas Markets
Where? Conwy
When? Thursday 26th to Sunday 29th of November 2026
Time? 10am – 5pm

Prepare to step back in time with this Christmas event in the historic town of Conwy.
Conwy Harbour @ Christmas transforms the quayside into a Winter Faire, with a spacious, heated, carpeted marquee filled with UK artisans, makers, and traders. It’s the perfect spot to pick up unique, handcrafted gifts you won’t find on the high street, and entry is free.
Set against the backdrop of Conwy Castle, the scene comes alive with twinkling lights, festive music, and that unmistakable Christmas cheer.
Shops and restaurants usually stay open later, so you can catch up on your Christmas shopping before grabbing a bite to eat in one of the many cosy pubs, including The Erskine Arms and The Jackdaw.
Snowdonia Christmas Market (Nadolig Eryri ar Fro)
Where? Betws-y-Coed, Conwy
When? Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th of November 2026
Time? TBC (10am – 4:30pm in 2025)
Venture into the famous Snowdonia National Park to celebrate local makers and producers from Eryri and beyond.
Held in the front car park of the Royal Oak Hotel, the stalls sell everything from handmade jewellery and distilled brews to pottery, knitted goods, and woodwork. Perfect for picking up locally sourced Christmas gifts.
Enjoy a festive atmosphere with live performances from local choirs and brass bands. Last year’s market also welcomed a visit from Siôn Corn and the bang, bang, bash of the Royal Oak Forge team bringing plenty of sparks and fire!
Or if you’re feeling adventurous, book an experience at the renowned Zip World Fforest or enjoy a hike up to Swallow Falls to blow away the cobwebs.

Denbighshire Christmas Markets
Tweedmill Artisan Markets
Where? Tweedmill Shopping Outlet, St Asaph Road, St Asaph, Denbighshire, LL17 0UY
When? Sunday 1st of November and Sunday 6th of December 2026

Get your Christmas shopping started with an artisan market at the Tweedmill Shopping Outlet in St Asaph, run by The Artisan Market Company.
With two dates to choose from, one at the start of November and one in early December, you can pick up unique gifts from local makers before the Christmas rush.
Each market has over 60 artisan and craft stalls with local makers, handcrafted gifts, seasonal food and drink. Entry and on-site parking are free, the site is wheelchair friendly, and dogs are welcome. While you’re there, you can also visit the outlet’s shops, café, coffee shop, tea rooms and farm shop.
Where? Ruthin Castle and Nantclwyd y Dre, Ruthin, Denbighshire
When? Saturday 28th of November 2026
Time? 10am – 3:30pm
Ruthin’s award-winning Christmas Extravaganza returns for 2026 with a new look. This year the market moves to Nantclwyd y Dre (indoors and outdoors) and the grounds of Ruthin Castle, with some stalls inside the castle.
The organisers say they still plan to host as many stalls as ever, just in fewer locations, so there’s less ground to cover.
Bring the whole family to explore a variety of stalls, where you’ll find sweet and savoury treats, drinks, gifts, and arts and crafts. In previous years the market has also had live music and a free Santa Grotto, so keep an eye on the Ruthin Artisan Markets Facebook page for what’s planned this time.

Wrexham Christmas Market
Wrexham Victorian Christmas Market
Where? Wrexham city centre
When? Thursday 26th to Sunday 29th of November 2026
Time? 11am – 8pm Thursday to Saturday; 11am – 4pm Sunday
Head to the now-famous city of Wrexham for its popular Wrexham Victorian Christmas Market, renowned for its football club, which features in the hit documentary ‘Welcome to Wrexham’.
The much-loved market returns to the city centre for four festive days. Explore St Giles’ Church, then make your way up to the High Street, where charming wooden cabins are filled with bespoke gifts, handmade crafts, seasonal treats, and delicious hot food and drinks.
Who knows, you may even catch a glimpse of Ryan Reynolds or Rob McElhenney doing some last-minute browsing?!
