“I visited with my wife and 1year old for a last minute break over Christmas for 4 nights.”

We really enjoyed our time from the moment that we set foot inside the property our expectations were met! A cosy cottage with beautiful views from all of the rooms. There was a bit of a draught from the main door and it is on a main road so you can hear vehicles zooming past on an evening from the rooms at the front of the house, but this wasn't a nuisance. There was a bit of a draught from the main door and it is on a main road so you can hear vehicles zooming past on an evening from the rooms at the front of the house, but this wasn't a nuisance. Some nice touches in the cottage included a pair of binoculars to ogle the lovely views. The kitchen facilities were excellent and we were not short of anything. We were also provided with a little play pen for the baby which was great. I would recommend and would love to revisit in the summer. Oh yes the bathtub and view was amazing :)

The property

There are not many windows that offer such outstanding views (check out the bath!).

Below is the ever-changing Menai Strait where you can watch boats sail whilst admiring the skyline of magnificent mountains on Snowdonia with the Victorian Pier and Penrhyn Castle in the foreground. The living space is pretty open plan to include the sitting room, kitchen and dining rooms.

In the kitchen is a cooker, hob, fridge with ice compartment, washing machine, Nespresso coffee maker with a small initial supply of pods, microwave and a toaster. To one side is the dining table and chairs for up to four people.Through the window next to the table you have gorgeous views. In the sitting space you’ll find comfy sofas, a TV that you can plug your own Chrome-cast or Amazon Fire-stick into. There’s a little nook which makes the ideal spot a spot of work or even good old postcard writing! The first bedroom has a king sized bed and ensuite bedroom with double-ended bath placed in the window so you soak your cares away whilst taking in the gorgeous view! There’s also a loo and wash hand basin. The second bedroom is a twin bed that can be converted to a king size with appropriate bed linen by prior request.Adjacent to the twin bedroom is the wet room with underfloor heating, shower, loo and wash hand basin. Outside is a wide pavement for parking up your car. Located between the popular seaside towns of Beaumaris and Menai Bridge there are plenty of pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops close by.

Fully refurbished, warm and comfortable, this is the perfect all year round holiday retreat. Love this but not large enough?
