“We very much enjoyed the cottage, ideal for family and dogs.”

We would say though that we were very concerned by the very smelly fumes from the boiler in the kitchen especially with a baby with us. I would suggest that it needs an urgent service. I'm aware that the owner suggests that it smells different from gas boilers in their welcome notes but we HAVE oil boilers ourselves and they certainly don't smell so bad. It was very unpleasant at times. Otherwise all good.

We do service the boiler regularly and it has been checked a number of times due to the smell. We have been reassured that there is no problem with the boiler. The smoke alarms and CO2 sensors are also checked regularly. Property Owner
