The property

This well-presented, detached stone cottage sits in a quiet position above the village of Waunfawr, Gwynedd and enjoys spectacular panoramic views over Anglesey and the Irish Sea.

In close reach of the coast and the scenic splendour of the Snowdonia National Park, Beech Tree Cottage is a great choice, whatever time of year.

Step into the spacious living/dining room and you’ll immediately sense the homely feel, complete with plush seating and an alluring woodburning stove, perfect for catching up and socialising with the group.

Move into the kitchen, housing all the essentials for a short break, including a dishwasher, so you won’t have to lift a finger when washing up!

Whisk away to the bedrooms, including a double with en-suite shower, whilst the two twins are perfect for children.

Realx at the end of the day in the bathroom, complete with a bath and shower attachment.

When you’re ready to explore, the little village of Waunfawr enjoys a shop, a friendly pub serving food and a station for the Welsh Highland Railway.

For walking, venture up the Mynyndd Mawr and Moel Elio mountains from Beech Tree Cottage, and the most adventurous can even walk to the summit of Snowdon.

There are stunning castles to explore in Caernarfon, Conwy, Criccieth, Harlech and Beaumaris, National Trust Properties, and beautiful beaches on the Llyn Peninsula and on the Isle of Anglesey.

Visit the city of Bangor and take a stroll along the second longest pier in Wales, whilst the Isle of Anglesey is slightly further afield and home to a wealth of gorgeous scenery.

Beech Tree Cottage is a wonderful base, offering a relaxing stay at any time of year.
