The property

Nestled in a leafy area down a secluded drive is Y Berllan, an inviting holiday home with all the home comforts you need on the outskirts of Caernarfon's town centre in Gwynedd.

With a lawned garden, woodburning stove and a Smart TV, this home is ideally located and perfectly suited for a break among friends or family at any time of year.

After parking in one of two spaces at the front of the property, step into the living/dining room, where you can snuggle up in front of the fire.

From here, gather your group to dine at the table for six while you plan the next day’s events.

Moving through the property, the kitchen/diner offers a less formal eating space with a breakfast table to seat four, along with all the necessary appliances including a handy dishwasher.

Completing the ground floor is a shower room, where you can prepare for the day ahead, and a double bedroom, making the property ideal for a multigenerational family.

Climb the stairs to the mezzanine snug to find some games, or head up the other stairs to the remaining two bedrooms, a double and a twin.

When you don’t feel like cooking, the nearest restaurant is the lovely Molly's, or you can venture into the town centre for even more choices of cuisines.

Explore the Caernarfon Castle and Walls while in the area; the historic town is bursting with charm, or you can take advantage of the near proximity to the Menai Strait to enjoy the scenic views and walks in the area.

Make the easy trip over to Anglesey for a day of exploring the popular Isle, where plenty of watersports can be enjoyed.

Why not try and tackle the imposing Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)?

With so much to see year-round, make Y Berllan your base.
