Nestled on the outskirts of Trearddur Bay in Caergybi is this delightful one bedroom living space Croeso, a garage conversion transformed into a modern and comfortable space and enjoying a fabulous location, Croeso certainly lives up to its name offering a couple a welcoming home away from home.

Leave your vehicle on the driveway, before discovering a rear, enclosed patio with barbecue, bistro table and chairs, a perfect spot for dining alfresco or savouring your morning coffee as you make plans for the day ahead.

Step into the open-plan living area, where you can impress your other half with tasty meals, prepared in the well-equipped kitchen, ready to enjoy at the dining table over a celebratory bottle of fizz.

After dinner, snuggle up on the sofa and select a much-loved film from the Smart TV as the evening’s entertainment.

Prepare for bed with a refreshing shower where you can wash off sandy toes after a day at the beach, before climbing into the sumptuous double bed to catch your rest.

Pack up your bathing suit, swim trunks and towels and head straight for the golden sands of Traeth Trearddur, where you can bathe, paddle the shores, or try your hand at a selection of watersports, including sailing and windsurfing.

The village offers plenty of eateries to suit every taste and budget, with light bites on offer from the Sea Shanty Café which serves food all day, fresh seafood at Ocean’s Edge and Chinese at The Imperial Place.

There are two convenience stores where you can pick-up any last-minute essentials.

For leisurely strolls, visit the Porth Diana North Wales Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve, where you can spot the local wildlife, or if that isn’t your thing, you can test out your clubs at the excellent 18-hole Holyhead Golf Club.

Continue onto Holyhead, where you can delve into history at the Holyhead Maritime Museum, join the renowned Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path which offers some of the best sights and scenery or wander along the breakwater where you will reach the historic lighthouse built in 1873.

For a memorable day trip, why not catch a ferry over to Dublin, where you can sample the delights of the Irish life?

Holyhead 2 miles.

Trearddur Bay is situated on the western shore of Holy Island. It’s truly beautiful - a great sweep of low grassy coastline indented with rocky coves and fine sandy beaches (European Blue Flag). Watersports, bathing, sailing and windsurfing are the main activities in the summer months and golfers will enjoy the excellent Holyhead 18 hole links golf course. It’s a great place for nature lovers with renowned birdwatching at the South Stack Lighthouse RSPB Reserve and lots of rock pools and cliff top walks to explore. There are shops, pubs and restaurants in Trearddur Bay itself and nearby Holyhead offers a wider range of amenities, including a very good leisure centre, an interesting harbour front, a marina, the world’s second longest breakwater and exciting day trips to Dublin on the ferry. The Maritime Museum in Holyhead has an excellent cafe and the beautiful Holyhead Breakwater Country Park has walks for you to enjoy. Further afield there is the stunning Newborough with its excellent woodland and beach and Beaumaris with its town and castle. A great location with plenty to see and do!
