The property

This stunning holiday home offers a striking combination of contemporary styling with a touch of character and charm, ensuring a comfortable base for a romantic holiday to one of the most notable and sought-after locations on the Isle of Anglesey.

Upon entering the property itself, the entrance vestibule provides space for hanging your coats and storing muddy boots before making your way into the kitchen, which features a contemporary suite with modern grey units fitted with all the integrated appliances one might expect from a fully-equipped kitchen.

Enjoy your home-cooked meals or a local takeaway at the accompanying dining table, or use this space to pull open the map to plan the next day’s adventures with a glass of wine in hand.

Return to the hallway to find the sitting room, where the large patio doors affords a constant connection with the garden and beyond towards the Menai Strait.

Flick on the electric fire to set a cosy ambiance during a winter’s evening, before kicking back and relaxing on the sumptuous sofa to tune into the TV, delve into a good book or to simply relish in the company of your loved one.

As the evening draws to a close, catch your rest within the double bedroom, elegantly decorated with grey tones, all the necessary furnishings and a picture window offering views of the Snowdonia mountain range to wake up to each morning from the comfort of the double bed, which is draped in quality linens and piled with plush pillows to ensure sleep comes easy.

At Hudolfa, the garden has been designed as an extension of the house itself, where you can spend sunny afternoons on the large lawn area and listen to the soundtrack of the water flowing through the Strait, whilst admiring the views of the mountains on mainland Wales.

If you can tear yourself away from this heavenly oasis, travel into the town of Menai Bridge, where you will be spoilt for choice by the selection of places to eat and drink, including the local favourite, Dylan's Restaurant, where you can sample delicious pizza and seafood specials such as Welsh mussels with cream and cider, whilst enjoying the overlooking waterfront views.

The town also plays host to a number of shops for picking up the essentials, as well as opportunities to delve into the area’s past by visiting the Menai Bridge Heritage Museum or during the summer months catch a RibRide boat trip down the Menai Strait to explore the charming Church Island.

Other attractions within the surrounding area includes exploring the Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens or spending an afternoon within the town of Beaumaris, where you will find a 13th century castle and the Victorian prison, be sure to take a boat trip out to Puffin Island for a truly unique experience.

The famous village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyll is also within striking distance, where you can take a typical tourist photo at famous full-length place name sign located at the train station or soak up the sunshine at one of the many local beaches including Newborough Beach, Benllech Beach, Llanddwyn Beach and many more!

This delightful town sits right on the edge of the Isle of Anglesey and is home to one of two bridges to mainland Wales. It is an ideal base for a holiday and is great for exploring this beautiful island. It has a strong history which can be discovered in the Menai Bridge Heritage Museum, the well known Saint Tysilio lived on Church Island, just off of Anglesey in the 7th century, hence the name of the 15th century St. Tysilio's Church. Menai Bridge itself offers a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy. In terms of entertainment, this is an ideal spot with something for everybody, there is the butterfly palace 'Pili Palas' which is incredibly popular with families, as well as the astounding Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens well worth a walk around. The Snowdonia National Park is within driving distance for you outdoor enthusiasts, it has wonderful walking, cycling and opportunities to see some beautiful sights. Nearer to the town, there are some incredible places including the popular towns of Beaumaris and Caernarfon with their majestic castles and much more to do.
