“Just loved our stay at Ty Arwen and can't wait to go back.”

Brilliant clear instructions to find the property and what a property it's one of the best I have ever stayed in. The location is amazing with sea and country views and a lovely walk down to the beach. We were blessed with good weather and enjoyed breakfast in the garden and evenings sat outside until the gnats got too bossy. The games room and hot tub are coming soon and will only extend special times outside. The photos don't do justice to the property as decorations and the kitchen have ...

The photos don't do justice to the property as decorations and the kitchen have changed. So well equipped could have cooked full meals all the time but hey I was in holiday. Seating is comfy and maximises the views. Bedrooms were comfortable and as I was lucky enough to have the ensuite master with balcony afforded beautiful views. The property is dog friendly and has great space to clean dirty paws after time on the beach. It's not just the facilities good as they are it's the feel of the place so peaceful and relaxing you can't put a price on that. My only complaint it's booked up for ages but would definitely recommend and will go again.

The property

Ty Arwen is a stunning holiday house, on the east coast of Anglesey, set in private landscaped gardens with glorious views of Lligwy Bay, towards the Great Orme and the mountains of Snowdonia beyond.

The gorgeous beach at Lligwy is less than a mile away, and the little known Traeth yr Ora, which is accessible only by foot and retains a sense of isolation and uniqueness, is also close by. The sitting room is spacious and comfortable with a mix of sofas and armchairs, a feature wood pellet burner, and a flat screen TV/DVD player.

The kitchen has a low-level oven and induction hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and a spacious dining area seating eight. The utility area has a washing machine. The charming bedrooms have individual themes, based on 'upcycled' custom made chairs. ‘Fish' is a very versatile ground floor bedroom that can be made up as a twin room, a double room, or as a second sitting room/snug.

Please indicate at the time of booking how you would like the room made up. 'Map' is the master double bedroom with en-suite shower room with a corner shower, loo, wash hand basin and heated towel rail. ‘Maritime' is a twin room. ‘Man's Best Friend' is a double room. On the ground floor there is a wet room with shower, loo, wash hand basin and heated towel rail, and another separate loo.

Upstairs is a bathroom with double-ended bath, loo, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.

The garden is fully enclosed with areas of lawn, patio and decking to front and rear, and a variety of garden furniture.

There is a raised decked area at the bottom of the garden and ample parking. The design of Ty Arwen, combined with its bright and airy position and coastal location, makes it the perfect place for a holiday whatever the season.

In the warm summer months, after a day on the beach, you can open up the patio doors and enjoy a glass of wine out on the rear decking or front patio.

In the winter, you can cosy up in the lounge with a fire roaring, and take in the dramatic sea and mountain views. Ty Arwen incorporates many environmentally sound building techniques.

The quality of the furnishings perfectly complements the way in which the property is finished, with high quality tiled, laminate and oak floors, underfloor heating, triple glazing and high levels of insulation. The beds will be made made up as advertised, if you would like a different bed configuration please contact Menai Holidays 7 days before your arrival.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £250.
