“Cottage was described as being near Foel animal park and near a chocolate shop - but the property was actually on the site of Foel Park Farm - a bit of a surprise - but - saying that we could have a look around the farm and see the animals.”

The cottage itself I found to be comfortable - and a little quirky as it was the old barn - (but I like quirky!!) - the bathroom was very up-to-date.

The property

Foel Stable Cottage is a holiday cottage cleverly and quirkily converted from the stable of the main house.

It's now a cosy, traditional stone cottage that has given many happy holidays to returning families. "Explore Anglesey and North Wales from this quaint and friendly cottage with the added bonus of a free pass to the perennially popular Foel Farm Park." With stunning views of Snowdonia from the sitting room and garden, you can easily spend some time relaxing with a book, maybe even a glass of wine or a cuppa and simply soaking up the views.

As Foel Stable Cottage is only a few hundred yards from the banks of the Menai Strait, it is ideally situated for exploring the many delights of Anglesey. Traditional, warm, cosy and full of character, this fab little holiday cottage is on the grounds of the popular tourist attraction, Foel Farm Parc (free pass available), where you can experience a real working farm, help feed the animals, enjoy a tractor and trailer ride, finishing off with a visit to the chocolate workshop!

In fact, Anglesey has so many amazing things to see and do and many of them will be right on your doorstep, or just a short drive away.

This is a great place to stay if you are a family looking to make memories of a wonderful holiday here in North Wales.
