Foel Stable Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay at Foel cottage.

My children’s favourite bits were the bunny barn, bouncy pillow and the resident cat on the farm. It was a great location for beautiful beaches and the forest. Highly recommended!

The most lovely, cozy and authentic farm cottage you can imagine.

The three of us had a fantastic time feeding animals at our doorstep, relaxing in privacy in the cottage and exploring Anglesey from there! A children's dream accomodation.

Lovely cottage in great surroundings.

Beautiful views of the Menai straits and the mountains. The cottage is very warm and cosy with all the facilities and appliances you could want. Very clean. Only drawback was no Wi-Fi, but I don’t go on holiday to be glued to a screen so was not a problem for me. Easy to find and close to many attractions. Being on Foel Farm it would be great for a family with children.

Foel stable cottage was clean, warm, quiet and well organised.

Fixtures all 'worked' and had evidently been given good attention to detail. Owner was welcoming, the cottage is on a park/farm and there was a lot of emphasis on hygiene and safety for the kids. There is a cafe onsite, which it so happens we did not use, but also a home-made chocolate shop which we did, several times. Don't expect to lose any weight during your stay ! Recommended. Unique cottage situation with splendid outlook across Menai Strait and wonderful to wake up each morning with such superb view of Snowdon.

Owners were friendly and helpful and fixed water boiler problem without delay. Farm location added to variety and interest and caused no problem. Only concern in future would be availability of good and reliable internet.

On contacting Mr Spears as requested halfway through giving me information he said he was too busy and would ring me the next day, he didn’t On arrival Mr Spears was rude and patronising Mrs Spears was lovely Broadband was not limited it was non existent Double bed mattress was like lying on concrete with no give in it whatsoever leading us to go home a night early because we couldn’t face another night on it Couldn’t use the garden as it wasn’t sufficiently enclosed to stop our 2 dogs from escaping also the elderly lady whom we shared the garden with (didn’t know this when we booked) used to sit out and we felt like trespassers in the garden

It's a beautiful cottage with lovely views. It was relaxing and cosy, just what we needed. Really good location to explore Anglesey. Thank you for your hospitality!

Parking is a bit of a hassle as there are deadlines you have to obey.

Parking issues needs to be made clearer.

Owners took time to make us very welcome and show us around. Wonderful location, with amenities nearby. Will revisit.

Lovely area to explore.

The cottage is such good value for money, having full access to the lovely, clean, well kept petting farm. The facilities within the cottage where great, it just missed an ironing board and hairdryer....but not a big issue. The cottage is quite remote, so you do need to drive to everywhere, although there are 2 attractions in walking distance if you want a local day out, plus a lovely walk along the menai strait. The owners are on hand running the farm park if you have any questions and the chocolates from there shop are amazing! There are some lovely pubs and restaurants within 20 minutes serving great food. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

The cottage and owner were fantastic.

We had a wonderful time.

The cottage was beautiful and there was loads for little ones to do. We were made really welcome around the farm and loved being able to walk around before the other tourists arrived and after they left. Not a bored moment all week. We will definitely be back.

Had an amazing week at Foel Farm, have already recommended to several family and friend who are planning to visit too.

Wonderful holiday I an amazing location.

Kids loved being on the farm and seeing the animals everyday. Also an excellent crabbing spot a short walk away! Will definitely be returning. Thanks for a fab stay!

Lovely location and brilliant little cottage, perfect for the south and West side of anglesey.

Nice to be on a farm and see and hear all the animals.

Foel Cottage was a nice place for a relaxing break, there was a great stretch of water if you like fishing.

The Farm was busy each day, it never interfiered with the cottage. I would stay there again. Kind Regards Mike Carr

We were delighted to find out we were staying in the middle of a working farm park.

The children had free and unlimited access to see the animals, take trips on the tractor and quad bike and ride the ponies.... not to mention the big bouncing pillow! The staff were all really friendly and made us all feel very welcome. The house was lovely and the garden was absolutely beautiful- a perfect place to sit in the sunshine surrounded by an impressive array of flowers! We’d definitely recommend this as a holiday destination for anyone with kids who wishes to explore the beautiful isle of Anglesey from a base that everyone is happy to return to at the end of the day!

Cottage was described as being near Foel animal park and near a chocolate shop - but the property was actually on the site of Foel Park Farm - a bit of a surprise - but - saying that we could have a look around the farm and see the animals.

The cottage itself I found to be comfortable - and a little quirky as it was the old barn - (but I like quirky!!) - the bathroom was very up-to-date.

It was brilliant to stay on the farm and be able to use all of the facilities.

Everyone was very friendly.

Very good family location - especially if you like animals.

We were especially grateful to one of the ladies who very bravely offered to let our 5 and 2-year-old help lead the ponies up to the farm one morning. We will hopefully be returning soon.

Great location.

Cottage was spacious, clean and well equipped. Very quirky. Farm and gardens immaculately kept. A useful addition would be some patio furniture as the weather was superb.

fantastic location, perfect for a family with kids.

We have a 1yr & 3yr olds, three year old loved the farm. The 1yr old started crawling the week before so the open stairs were a bit of a hazard but easily managed. Only real concern was that the 2 bedrooms were quite far apart. Imagine it would be perfect for a family with 5-10yr olds. Cottage was very private despite central location, well fitted and full of character. Great base to explore Anglesey from and only a few minutes walk to the coast (Menai Strait). Hope to return in a few years maybe.

Although overall the cottage and especially the bathroom was in good condition, We had serious concerns regarding the staircase leading to the double bed room as this was not in a good condition and it appeared as though work was in complete in fitting a handrail.

Therefore after the first night we spent the remainder of the stay in the twin bedded room on ground floor. We had other concerns regarding the stairs leading to the main living area.
