“Iam so sad that i will never stay here again.”

It was our 4th stay which we have loved over the years. We have just had the most stressful week in the east keepers cottage. On arriving & went to use the toilet it was hanging off the wall & the pedestal was also not bolted down.A stella beer cardboard box had been folded & pushed under the pedestal. We contacted the care taker Rick who asked for photos which we provided.he said he will send a plumber Today, no plumber arrived. That was on 20th April our arrival day.the plumber came out on ...

That was on 20th April our arrival day.the plumber came out on 24th April which wasn't good enough. The cottage was dirty very dusty. We reported that the bulbs in the kitchen were out appart from two out of eight. The main walk in shower the filter was blocked so all water was going into the bathroom area & out came the the mop & bucket. These concerns were reported to Rick the care taker but didn't get resolved till the Tuesday 23rd whe he did put 3 bulbs in & cleaned out the shower drain. The self-catering cottage had everything but the oven door didn't shut properly so food i.e oven chips fish fingers took over a hour so food wasn't getting to the right temperatures this wasant rectified & he said he will look into it which he did not do during our weeks stay or bring an air fryer to make our life easier. The frying pan needs replacing not fit for purpose no none stick everthing sticking. The kettle was very tempimental one minute it worked the next it didnt. Rick the caretaker said because its fully booked no time to check everything, we have stayed at this property over the years under different hosts & always spotless n everything working. When the so called cleaner's come in on change over day need to be on the ball with cleanliness i.e shower filters cleaned of hair & report any findings of broken or not fit for purpose items & replacement of bulbs. So upset & felt as it was just about the money and no care towards us.
