Aptly named Flip Flops, is just minutes from the beach in the popular seaside village of Rhosneigr on the west coast of Anglesey. The owners combined flair have made this a fun, bright bungalow adding all the contemporary needs for a great holiday. The views from the sitting room and patio are fantastic, perfect for an al-fresco lunch or a cocktail watching the fantastic sunsets over the bay. The large sitting room offers sea views, there’s a comfortable sofa, a Smart TV, books, games. The kitchen and dining room has all the essentials including a cooker, hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and toaster.There’s a dining table & chairs to seat up to six people. The conservatory has more seating and provides access to the rear patio area. Flip Flops has three bedrooms. One master double with ensuite containing a shower, loo and wash hand basin as well as bathrobes and slippers. There’s a twin room and a bunk room, too. The family bathroom has a bath, loo and wash hand basin. We’ve added a fantastic new Games Room at Flip Flops, perfect for keeping the youngsters entertained and adding to the overall experience of your stay. Whether they want to hang out, play games, or unwind with a movie, this space provides a fun retreat, especially on rainy days.
The Smart TV offers countless films and programs, and guests are welcome to bring their own games consoles to connect and play!
Games & Activities for Everyone We’ve stocked the room with a huge selection of board games and jigsaws for some quality family time. Challenge each other with classics like twister, cleudo, monopoly, trivial pursuit and many more!

Had the most amazing week at Flip Flops.
Bungalow had everything we needed and more. Beds and sofa super comfy and everywhere very clean. Lovely welcome pack included basics, tea, coffee, biscuits, chocolates and doggy treats. The position of the property is incredible with amazing views of Rhosneigr beach from living room and garden. Spent many a happy hour mesmerised by the kite and windsurfers on the beach which is literally 2 minutes walk away. Rhosneigr has a vibe of it's own with many restaurants, cafés and pubs within easy walking distance of Flip Flops. They are all very welcoming and dog friendly. Owners were on hand immediately to answer a few minor issues we had (our fault, not theirs) and we would not hesitate to highly recommend this property.

Flip Flops proved to be an excellent choice of holiday accommodation.
The quality of the internal fixtures and fittings are to a high quality. The views from the bungalow are directly down to the beach, and a 3 minute walk. The garden is secure for dogs and there is off road parking. The acctual location is in a quiet cul-de sac and easy walking distance of the Village centre.

Flip Flops was everything we hoped it would be.
It worked perfectly for our family. A very rare chance to have a few days away and we were not disappointed. Flip Flops was immaculate, roomy and had everything we needed. The wet room works well for when you get back from the beach, the porch was perfect for the dogs so we could keep the house nice. Enclosed garden

What a perfect property for a beach holiday.
Our granddaughters (9 and 7) just loved having their own room to eat, play and watch tv in the evening. We could not fault it in any way. The wet room was perfect for showering straight off the beach. 10/10. Chris and Gail were the perfect hosts thank you for a holiday where lots of memories have been made xxx

The house is beautiful, it is extremely clean, has everything you need and more and is really spacious, with private space in the games room for older children and teens. The location is perfect, literally 2 minutes to the beach with amazing sea views from the lounge and garden. The hosts were welcoming and helpful - thank you. Definitely the best holiday home we have stayed in. We will be back!

We had a wonderful 2 weeks at fabulous Flip Flops.
Our 2nd stay in beautiful Rhosneigr. The bungalow is very spacious and has lovely seaviews from the lounge and the back garden. The kitchen is very well equipped and furniture and beds are very comfortable. Its just couple of mins walk to the stunning beach which our little dog loved. Lovely cafes and restaurants and fish and chips and pizza takeaway. We will be booking again for next year!

After a very long drive to flip flops, I pulled up on the drive to see a very welcoming bungalow, once inside I was blown away by the size of this holiday let, well laid out, the bedrooms were all a very good size, kitchen and dining room HUGE.
And a games room ( not that we used it as the weather was beautiful). Sea views from lounge and the back garden which were amazing. The bungalow is close to all the amenities so didn't need to use the car. Which is a plus. The hamper was very much appreciated, everything is there that you need to have a fantastic holiday. Chris and Gail were at hand if we had any concerns which is nice. Would like to visit again, Ive been visiting rhosneigr for 37 years, but this is my 2nd time for hiring a holiday let. Would I stay there again Most Definitely. Comfortable and big, with views like that who wouldn't.

Clean and fresh and very well appointed. The views from both the front window and the conservatory at the back are fabulous. Only a very short stroll to the beach and to the village centre. We had a brilliant stay.

Lovely week at Flip-Flops, very clean and comfortable property.
As the weather was beautiful we enjoyed sitting in the conservatory or the garden, watching the sea. Sadly, as we are only ever a group of two or three, we will not be able to rebook, as the bungalow now sleeps six and the new rates reflect this. But we did enjoy our stay, and would recommend this lovely place.

Fabulous Flip Flops!
Extremely well maintained and clean plus very high spec facilities. Views from the lounge and the garden of the sea were to die for! The proximity to the beach and village was a real plus for us as mum is 82! We fell in love with Rhosnegr's peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend all the eateries we tried especially Mojo's where we ate 3 times during our week. For a night in the fish and chip shop was the best we have ever eaten, all be it expensive. We look forward to trying the Blue Olive and the pizza place next year as we have already booked Flip Flops again for 2 weeks! Forgot to mention our little Schnauzer Lizzie had a fabulous time too!

Absolute bliss!
Games room is perfect for the age group who accompanied us - twins aged 12 and 14yr old they had their own self-contained area with breakfast bar/fridge/tv/wet-room and plenty of games and actvities. Beach and seaview and watching the wind-surfers as the sunset … beautiful.

We appreciated the quality of everything that was provided. Would love to return with some of the family in August but afraid it’s too expensive, can understand why. A couple of oven trays and a tray for cuppas etc would have been handy. We really enjoyed our stay.

A great property in a superb location.
The beach is literally at the end of the road and the shop is close by. The property was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The hose pipe to wash down a sandy dog was a great touch. The back garden area was suitable for sitting in the sun until late evening with a view of the sea. The weather was stunning so we didn’t need to make use of the games room but I can see how it would be welcomed if the weather wasn’t so nice. The main bathroom didn’t have a shower- adding a shower would be my only suggestion, but there was an additional shower room through the kitchen area (this was a little less private when getting ready in the morning). The welcome pack hospitality was a lovely touch as was the text from the owners checking everything was ok. I would highly recommend this property and have already booked for next year.

The property is in a great position for the beach.
Well equipped, brilliant games room. Accommodation was good albeit we found the settee rather low. Bathroom good for mum in wheelchair however the front door step is extremely high to get the wheelchair in and could do with a ramp.

Comfy beds, nice enclosed garden for dog, great access to the beach close by. No negatives, only positives. Only recommendations would be need of wardrobe space, especially if 6 staying. Otherwise owners on site and responsive. Would return.

Fabulous location with stunning views both from the lounge window and conservatory / patio - we thoroughly enjoyed the proximity to both the beach ( ideal with our dog) and the village .
It was great being able to watch the windsurfers and fighter jets from the property. An ideal location too for our walking holiday. Flip Flops was very comfortable and well equipped with lots of welcome added extras . It’s a shame that the master bedroom has only a double bed rather than king size as this is unusual these days but all in all a great stay , thank you !

We had a house in Rhosneigr for over 50 years so knew the area well, but wanted to go back to meet up with some old friends.
We chose Flip Flops as it was in a quiet cul de sac with a view of the sea and within easy walkiing distance of the village centre. It offered spacious 3 bedroom accommodation and we would not hesitate to book it again when we next visit Rhosneigr.

We have stayed at Flip Flops many times over the last 10 years.
The property is always very clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The location is stunning, being a very short walk to the beach and the village centre. The views of the beach from the Lounge and rear garden are superb. The owners live close by and ensure the cleaning is carried out to the highest standard. We stay in cottages every year around 8 times but Flip Flops is always top of our list. You will not be disappointed, highly recommended.

We love Flip Flops.
This is our second visit and this time we brought our dog who loved it just as much as us. The excellent facilities particularly the conservatory and outside seating area and the proximity to the beach were just as we remember. It would be lovely to have the second bathroom fitted with a shower when you have three kids spending all day in the sea, rather than using one ( very good) shower in the en suite but this is a minor quibble! The bath was still useful for the dog. Would recommend this place wholeheartedly for an unpretentious and comfortable break.

A beautiful bungalow in a stunning ocation.
However due to the stunning weather we were unable to enjoy the bungalow due to the heat. The living room is lovely with views to the beach but it was unbearable to sit there at anytime of the day or night. We acuually had the remote control battery replaced by the very helpful owner Chris but gave up trying to watch a movie as itcwas so uncomfortable. Sleeping was also difficult and we had to purchase gel pillows to get some relief. In an ever warming climate the need for air con is an absolute must. If this had been in place we would have given it 5 stars and would not hesitate to stay again.

All facilities, kitchen equipment etc were supplied. The location, no more than 150 yards from the beach gave us wonderful views of the sea and beach from the lounge window! The owners seemed to have thought of everything, even down to the welcome card and chocolates.

This is a lovely welcoming and homely bungalow, and the owners Gail and Chris were on hand if we needed anything.
They provided everything we needed just the kettle was a challenge until we figured out how to use it! ;-) It is a perfect location, so close to the beach and the sea that was lovely to watch from the very comfortable living room on inclement days. The proximity to the local shops and restaurants was also a bonus, especially since we had two disabled mothers with us. We will definitely be back again, hopefully it will be a bit warmer next time so we can use our flip flops on the beach ;-)

A very well equipped Bungalow in a fantastic location, so relaxing and so close to lovely beach walks in either direction from the front door. Dog friendly. The lovely owners Chris and Gail ensure everything is spotless and cared for. We have booked again for next year. We book several cottages each year and Flip Flops is the benchmark for us. We love Flip Flops.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Flip Flops.
On our arrival the property smelt clean and felt warm. It’s a great place to stay, the place feels spacious and has a great view to the sea from the garden and front living room. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking needs. We loved our complementary chocolates. Owners Chris & Gail were lovely. Our only bug bear was not having control over the heating and having to ask for it to be turned up as we were really cold at one point. Whilst the owners were obliging and turned it up for us, it wasn’t always at a comfortable level throughout our stay when we needed it. We would love to come back and spend time at Flip Flops, but not being in control of our comfort puts us off a little.
We are glad you generally enjoyed your stay. We are sorry that you didn't ask for the heating to be turned up again, as of course we would have done. As we like to have happy guests. I understand most holiday let owners have installed similar heating controls. We do hope that you book again

We have just had the most enjoyable stay in flip flops.
The accommodation was spotless and very comfortable. It has lovely views to the beach and the lounge has a fantastic big picture window looking down to the sea. Loved watching the RAF jets as well. The owners are on hand should any issues arise. Have booked again already for next year!! Can’t wait to return. Tom and Paula.

On arriving at the property we were very disappointed to find that, I presume the owners, were actually living full time in the converted garage!
We were well aware of their presence and could hear them using the toilet, having a shower, and talking. The internal door to the garage was locked and the bathroom and kitchen windows were obscured with curtains. It was very uncomfortable knowing that they were on the other side of an internal door or window, and was not what we expected. Rhosneigr is a beautiful place and we would definitely return, but not to this property unfortunately.

We have received scores of 100% for 'Cleanliness', 'Comfort' and 'Facilities' from other happy guests. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and a great location for walking the magnificent beaches of Rhosneigr. Beds are really comfy something that cannot be said of many cottages we stay in. Owners are easy to contact and very friendly. Would not hesitate to recommend this excellent property and we will return. Fascinating to hear and watch the RAF Valley pilots training to defend the realm. Anglesey Golf Club less than a mile away which is very friendly.
Flip Flops is the ideal place to stay.
The bungalow was exceptionally clean and included everything for the perfect holiday. It was very comfortable and warm with a lovely view from the lounge and garden out to sea. The wind surfers and kite surfers were really busy all week. We can’t praise Flip Flops enough, perfect in every way. Thank you to Chris for helping with our minor problem. We will definitely visit Flip Flops again. 5 Star all the way

Another stay at Flip Flops and once again It was spotless for when we arrived.
The weather was glorious over the Bank Holiday but it was extremely busy with day trippers, only to be expected. Unfortunately due to the Covid and Brexit there are limited places to eat as staff and and food are very thin on the ground . It won’t however stop us from going again , we love it !!!
A lovely bungalow right near the beach, modern and very clean even treats left for our dogs.
Would have benefitted from wardrobes in all the bedrooms so you don’t have to live out of your suitcase for the week. An additional shower in the second bedroom would have made it easier for a family of six

The beach is only 1minute away.
It is a surfers paradise. Local shop 5 minutes away. Cottage met our expectations and was very clean. Take your food shop with you as local shop very limited supplies. I have to be honest and say be prepared for the jets flying Monday to Friday from RAF Valley close by as it gets very noisy.
We have just returned from another fantastic relaxing break at Flip Flops.
Everything was beautifully clean and fresh when we arrived and Chris and Gail were on hand at all times if we needed anything. The view is stunning and the weather was very kind. The local shops were a little low on stock unfortunately but I’m assuming that was due to the current Covid situation.

Really clean spacious bungalow with a very relaxing conservatory too. Very well equipped with everything we needed. Gorgeous sea views from the lounge and also the back garden/decking area where we saw a beautiful sunset. We would highly recommend Flip Flops to anyone. Thank you Chris & Gail. X
Due to the pandemic we didn't know if we would be able to travel over to Anglesey until the night before.
Throw the fact that we are also in the middle of a house move into the mix and you will understand our stress levels were through the ceiling! The journey of 2 and a half hours wasn't too bad. We'd never been to Anglesey before, nor had we ever been in a Sykes accommodation before. We really didn't know what to expect! Flip Flops was easy to find. The key safe was easy to use. I opened the front door and felt the weight of the world lift from my shoulders. It was beautiful. Clean and tidy. Everything we had wished for and more. Our pet dog Matilda was welcome and when we told the owners Chris and Gail that she didn't like walking on the kitchen floor (she has sensitive paw pads) they offered to bring a carpet runner for her. We have booked to go again next year and can't wait. The weather/pandemic and house move were forgotten for 7 blissful days. The views from front and back were to die for. If I could have changed anything I would have had a patch of false lawn near the back patio doors for Matilda as she didn't like the decking and I couldn't get her to go out back at all so we couldn't really use it either. I would fully recommend Flip Flops to all my friends and family. Thank you once again Chris and Gail for a fantastic week. It was a much needed holiday for us and we feel totally refreshed and relaxed....... now back to reality and our upcoming house move. See you next year. X

This was our second visit to Flip Flops and we were naturally anxious about the Covid situation but the property was spotless, thanks to Chris and Gail the owners.
The weather was kind to us so the holiday and the view was even better. I think however, I would take more groceries next time, as the shops are very limited and there are only a few restaurants/bars which have reduced their menus dramatically. See you next year !!

The bungalow is in a great location to enjoy a really good view of the Bay from a very comfy seat in the lounge or from the sun room and patio at the back of the bungalow.
Rhosneigr has good local facilities including convenient grocery stores, a great pub, a very handy chip shop/ takeaway and an excellent restaurant and bar in the local hotel. The bungalow provides a great base for exploring the island and we had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. We’ll definitely be booking again!

Everything we needed was to hand and the owners left a lovely little welcome surprise for us and the dogs! Some local shops appeared closed for the season but there were enough restaurants and pubs to keep us happy. We would definately return, it was a wonderful few days.

Ideally situated for the beach, which our dog just loves. Small selection of shops in the village and some very nice eateries. Flip Flops is ideal for a quiet break to get "away from it all"
It's a perfect holiday home, well equipped, clean and in a perfect area, I have been staying in Rhosneigr for 37 years and this is one of the best houses we have stayed in.
Flips flops was an amazing place and was very homely.
The beach was a minute walk away and is absolutely lovely, the sunsets were stunning.
