Lovely cottage in a great location .

Very spacious and large well equipped kitchen . Large comfy beds and excellent bathrooms Highly recommended Ice cream shop opposite and the town is very dog freindly

This is the third time we have stayed in this property.

It is always spotlessly clean and comfortable. This time a couple of things were missed by the cleaning company but it was rectified immediately and generously. The lady who runs the cleaning service was lovely and very concerned everything was perfect for us. We will definitely book again it’s a beautiful house in a great location.

Beautiful house, clean & tidy.

Love the pool / table tennis table. Dishwasher not working properly so had to clean it & buy rinse aid and salt ourselves as none left in house. First aid kit had hardly anything inside it. Bedrooms on top floor very cold (was new year) but think radiators need looking at as not much heat coming out - especially the bathroom one. Warmer blankets for beds would be a good idea because of the cold. But overall we enjoyed our stay and would come back again. Just a little more attention to detail with things mentioned would help.

The property was even better than the pictures.

Everything you could ever need was available, the check in was easy and the property felt very homely. Excellent location for shops, restaurants and the beach . Would definitely book again

What a gem of a place in the centre of Rhosneigr.

Lovely house!

Clean, comfortable, cosy yet spacious in great position minutes from the beach.Cannot fault it. Everyone in our party of six adults and springer spaniel, very happy! Thanks for a great stay.

Stayed here before for a few days with relatives who made the booking and liked it.

The position in the village and the parking are great. Plenty of space in there and it's well equiped kitchen is the best room. Overall the place could do with touching up i.e. skirting boards looking jaded. The bathroom lights i.e. the overhead and the mirror were out so it was too dark in there (only one downlighter over the shower). Granted the owner posted a note the door stating they were booking an electrician, how old was the note though I don't know. Overall a great place to stay just some details to sort out. This is the second time my family has rented this property with another family. We have also just booked again for next July because this property is perfect in so many ways. Things we love: comfy beds and pillows, loads of toilets and showers, massive bedroom (we had a masseur over who set up her table in the biggest bedroom. Brilliant.) The ping pong table, the size of the kitchen. Big car parking area. The fact the kids can sleep upstairs away from the grown ups. Massive comfy sofas that accomodate everyone with lovely cosy blankets. Opposite the ice cream shop! The kitchen is really well equipped (stick blender for pancakes. Thank you!) Big sized mugs. We love it because it's not a 'precious' feeling house, it has a great vibe and welcoming feeling. The things we would like to improve are the bins! The under sink bin is really tiny and there is no real provision for recycling inside. Food, especially, we would like to recycle. Also there was no hand soap in some of the bathrooms so we had to run out to get some (fine if you arrive when the shops are open). The towels are a little small, too. But honestly, these are small things. This feels like a home that is loved and you can have fun in. Thank you for not making it posh, precious and pricey! X

Westview is a lovely property, well equipped and in a great location.

Fabulous for three grown up kids, two adults and a dog. We did have problems with one upstairs window and the light in the main bathroom was out but it didn't spoil our stay. Absolutely loved our holiday in Rhosneigr, highlights, walking, paddleboarding, games nights and a lovely meal at Blue Olive, we will definitely be back.

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at West View.

A lovely house in a good location.

Very well equipped, we made good use of the table tennis!! Quite warm in the attic bedrooms with windows only opening a bit ! Maybe a fan would be appreciated!!! We have been to Rosneiger three times but this was the best house, very clean with everything we needed will definitely be returning!

What a gorgeous house!

It had everything we needed and more. Perfect location, the beach is the only a stone throwaway and the village has everything you could need. The house was sparkling clean, spacious and really comfortable. We only stayed for the weekend but we would love to come again to stay longer and explore the beautiful island. Lovely location for beach, shops, bars and restaurants.

Well fitted kitchen with every utility, excellent sized living room for a party of 7-8 people, every one can sit together around cosy log burner. 2 large bedrooms on first floor. Attic space, probably better for children, but ok for adults.

This is a lovely family home in a beautiful location.

Perfect for family gatherings with four bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms for everyone. The parking is good too …we managed to squeeze three cars in the front parking area. The rooms are well decorated and so clean and tidy as well as spacious. The bedrooms are good sizes. The walk to the beach is so easy and you fall asleep to the sound of the sea, it’s that close. The kitchen is huge and easily accommodates upward of 8/10 people. There is a downstairs utility with toilet and shower plus plenty of cupboard space in the kitchen. There is a table tennis table/ pool table in the main room which also has a tv and large sofas. All in all it met our needs well. Guests have to leave by 9am.

We stayed in this property in 2018 when it was beautifully well kept, nicely staged and clean.

Unfortunately, since then it has declined terribly. We have stayed in other Sykes' properties in the meantime and have not had the same issues. This property needs a deep clean, lots of general maintenance and updating to be brought back to its beautiful former glory. All in all we are very disappointed with our stay at West View. Details listed below. Cleanliness issues: - Strong smell of cigarette smoke all throughout property - Every surface dirty (dust, crumbs, cup ring marks) - Skirting boards and sockets covered in thick dust - Kitchen required deep cleaning before use - Dead flies splattered on walls and blinds - Floor covered in sand on arrival - Hairs inside dresser drawers - Pillow stains - Outside bins full on arrival - No cleaning supplies in the property - Ice packs covered in food left in freezer - Dead flies in freezer - Baby highchair was filthy - Microwave filthy, covered in food and needed scrubbing before use - Not enough towels for each person, meaning couples had to share Safety issues: - The baby gate which used to be on the top floor has been moved to the first floor. This means the twin rooms are unsafe for young children. - No oven gloves provided. - Microwave hot to touch after use Amenities: - No travel cot, which was requested and advertised - No cleaning supplies provided - No oven trays - Sykes often provide an essentials pack of milk, bread etc. This time we got a bottle of wine, which is useless for a family of 9 - No hosepipe outside for cleaning dog waste - Extremely poor internet connection, not able to use streaming services Maintenance and repair: - The information folder is tatty and a complete mess - Curtain rail in front bedroom hanging off - Tatty blinds in the kitchen look like they are barely attached to one another - No recycling or waste disposal information - Paint patches on walls (looks like a half finished job) Other - Some Images in the ad are not a true reflection of the property - Garden furniture used as indoor living furniture - Wooden furniture in garden is no longer there We would not be happy to stay at West View again due to all of the above.

West view was absolutely perfect for our family weekend away.

Spacious, outdoors and in with ample parking and the games area was a real bonus. Our group’s age ranged from 5 to 90 and it catered for everyone, great location for both the village and the beach, we will be looking to return!

We had a really enjoyable stay at the house.

It has everything you could possibly need for a family holiday and the space is great, as is the location. That said, the cleanliness very much lets it down. In fact it felt grubby which, given the price, was a disappointment. We had to call the maintenance company to come and change the sheets on one of the beds upon arrival (the bottom sheets and pillow cases had not been changed). There was mouldy coffee in the machine (which we did not touch). There was sand under sofas and in corners. And the kitchen needs a thorough clean. The house has very limited cleaning utensils and the ones you do have are broken/ancient (have a look at the broom and dustpan and brush) It’s impossible to tidy up daily, which is what we would have liked to do for our own comfort and out of respect for the property. We would suggest a deep clean and refresh as well as a small investment in some cleaning materials for guests.

Our second holiday at West View - wonderful place so handy for the beach and all Rhosneigr, hope to come again.

Amazing being so close to the beach and didn’t really need to leave the village!

We’ve stayed in Rhosneigr many times and this is by far the best place we’ve stayed.

Plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 children-and would be fine with 2 more! The house was clean and very well equipped and perfectly situated within walking distance of all the amenities of Rhosneigr. We had a mixed bag of weather but with plenty to do in the house (table tennis, pool, board games etc), the rain was no issue for us! We loved every minute and will definitely return to West View. Thank you!

Lovely big house, comfortable beds and bedding, kitchen was very well equipped.

What a fantastic location. May I suggest a starter log pack is made available as it was very cold on our arrival and although we bought logs from local shop they were quite damp so we couldn’t get the fire going on the first night. There were quite a lot of dog hairs on the rug, the skirting boards were dusty in bedroom and en-suite. I found a couple of hair grips with dark hair in at the side of the bed which had been missed. We have stayed in rhosneiger many, many times and will be back again as soon as we can. Thank you.

A very well located house with lots of home comforts.

We have visited a number of occasions as the size and layout works for our family. The kids enjoy the pool table! We hope to return.

We all thought the house was lovely and was perfect for our needs (8 individuals meeting up).

Plenty of bathrooms, roomy, clean, large modern kitchen which was well stocked with cooking essentials. It is in a great location.

We have taken self catering holidays since 1980, the last 15 in Rhosneigr and am delighted to say West View is the very best we have stayed in.

Had everything we needed. Beach easy walking distance from House. Lovely restaurants and bars within easy reach too.

We had no hot water. We assumed it would be on. We followed instructions once we realised we had none but that didn't work either. Eventually managed to work it. Needs clear instructions in welcome pack. House was lovely, well equipped, great location, bathrooms and bedding were very clean. Would visit again and recommend. Thank you

Absolutely lovely.

We had amazing weather and so loved the suntrap of the yard and it was perfect for putting up all our SUP's and going to the beach and swimming. Brilliant house we had a lot of fun playing pool just enjoying the whole experience. Felt relaxed and plenty of space - everything had been thought about.

Property extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean. There was more than enough space for our group of 4 adults 4 children and a dog. The games table was a huge hit and the outdoor patio area was a little sun trap! The owner was very helpful and we would definitely love to stay here again!

Fabulous house - extremely well equipped, clean, very warm and comfortable in an excellent location.

Quality beds and bedding. Games table an absolutely hit with our 8 & 10 year old boys! Sofas could do with updating and we did find quite a lot of glass under the dining table on arrival but since we spotted this immediately no harm done. Would certainly recommend this property to families visiting the area.

On accessing the property at the allotted time 5pm we were angry to find that the property had not been “ changed over “ and used towels and bedding were had been left in all the bedrooms and no fresh bedding was supplied.

In view of the risk of Covid we found this extremely disappointing especially as we had played our part in adhering to Covid practices. We had travelled for three hours and had to prepare dinner a lot later then we anticipated and were unable to continue our plans for the evening. On the plus side the cleaners arrived within the hour and completed the cleaning. it is a lovely property and we enjoyed our stay.

A massive draw back is the noise levels at the property - the building work, the lorries reversing up the road, certainly not relaxing

Comfortable and spacious. Well equipped. Ideal location on the High Street but not the main thoroughfare part so close to cafes, chip shop, gift shop and stores but equally close to more than one beach.

Our new favourite in Rhosneigr! The pool table was a highlight for our sons. The house was very well equipped, though we did not use the kitchen as much as usual, due to the proximity of everything in the village. Thank you!
