The property

This delightful, single-storey cottage sits in several acres of countryside, on the outskirts of the village of Gaerwen, with views of Britannia Bridge.

Cae Ffynnon is an ideal base for up to four guests and their canine companion looking to escape to North Wales and access the beauty of Anglesey along with the scenic splendour of the Snowdonia Mountain Range.

Following a day of hiking, kick off your walking boots and retire to the open-plan living space, where you can keep warm by the electric fire and catch up on some television.

Cross the threshold into the kitchen, amply equipped with all the essentials for home-cooking, including a handy washing machine so you won’t have to pack your entire wardrobe!

Enjoy a meal at the dining table or step outside and relish in alfresco dining from the patio area.

This lovely, large village rests on the scenic Isle of Anglesey in North Wales. In terms of amenities, Gaerwen offers a friendly pub as well as a Chinese takeaway and a petrol station with a general store. Popular tourist spots surround this village, with wonderful beaches dotted along the coast, as well as some astounding inland scenery to be admired. Llanfair PG, abbreviated from one of the longest place names in the world, is just three miles away with a small selection of charming amenities and an old railway station worth a look. Both Beaumaris and Bangor, which is over the bridge into mainland Wales, are within 10 miles and promise memorable days out with their vast array of amenities, splendid architecture and much to do catering to all tastes.
