    “Fantastic property.”

    Wonderfully decorated and very well equipped. There is so much space for a house with 8 people, you didn't feel on top of each other at all. The view is incredible from the front balcony, a beautiful place to be!

The property

Enjoying an elevated position overlooking fields with sheep and the mountains of North Wales in the distance, Gorwelion is a large, detached property in Trearddur Bay providing excellent accommodation for nine guests.

The layout resides over the first floor, with a double garage below, and is just less than a mile to the idyllic shores of Trearddur Bay.

Park up to four cars on the sloping drive before making your way up the steps to the first-floor entrance, finding a beautiful living/dining room to relax on following an adventurous day.

Relax on the sofas, light the woodburning stove and flick on the TV to unwind, with natural light flooding in from the many windows and sliding doors to the enclosed terrace.

Come together in the dining area around the corner, with home-cooked meals prepared in the amply-equipped fitted kitchen, further assisted by the handy utility room.

If you need to bring work with you, make use of the study room or enjoy peaceful moments in the sun within the conservatory with a good book.

The enclosed terrace is spacious with plenty of seating so you can enjoy dining alfresco in summer, or having a barbecue on a warm afternoon.

The master bedroom is an impressive suite beginning with a sitting area with a sofa, leading into the main spacious room with a king-size bed, with an en-suite bathroom and finally sliding doors leading to a second enclosed terrace with seating.

The remaining bedrooms comprise a further king-size, a twin with a basin vanity unit, and lastly a triple bunk room with a double below and single on top.

Offering a fantastic family layout, these three rooms are served by a family bathroom and a cloakroom too.

Pack up your beach bag and enjoy the walk down to the beautiful shores of Trearddur Bay where you'll spend many hours of fun, from sand castle building and paddling with your little ones, to exploring rock pools and playing ball games on the sand at low tide, it's a haven for families.

Those who enjoy the thrill of watersports can expect to find excellent waters and sheltered conditions at Trearddur Bay making it popular for windsurfing, bodyboarding, dinghy sailing and kayaking too.

When you want to stretch your legs, stroll along the promenade and enjoy the coastal views as you go, with the beach backed by a host of delights including cafés, restaurants and shops, along with The Beach Golf Course.

Venture up to Holyhead to enjoy further amenities like shops and restaurants, or take advantage of Holyhead's direct ferries to Dublin and enjoy an amazing Irish day out with a refreshing pint of Guinness in a traditional pub!

Follow the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path around the island to enjoy more incredible views and scenery and for wildlife watching too, with more beaches to discover as well as the Breakwater Country Park offering several trails, birdwatching and fishing too.

The main island has lots to offer too within easy driving distance, including the beach at Rhosneigr, which is great for surfing, and Newborough Forest for the mountain biking trails.

Holyhead 2 miles.

Trearddur Bay is situated on the western shore of Holy Island. It’s truly beautiful - a great sweep of low grassy coastline indented with rocky coves and fine sandy beaches (European Blue Flag). Watersports, bathing, sailing and windsurfing are the main activities in the summer months and golfers will enjoy the excellent Holyhead 18 hole links golf course. It’s a great place for nature lovers with renowned birdwatching at the South Stack Lighthouse RSPB Reserve and lots of rock pools and cliff top walks to explore. There are shops, pubs and restaurants in Trearddur Bay itself and nearby Holyhead offers a wider range of amenities, including a very good leisure centre, an interesting harbour front, a marina, the world’s second longest breakwater and exciting day trips to Dublin on the ferry. The Maritime Museum in Holyhead has an excellent cafe and the beautiful Holyhead Breakwater Country Park has walks for you to enjoy. Further afield there is the stunning Newborough with its excellent woodland and beach and Beaumaris with its town and castle. A great location with plenty to see and do!
