“I was on a week's holiday with my mum and we were in the ground floor flat.”
This is a little gem - it feels like it it sin the middle of nowhere, but 5 minutes down the road is a retail park with lots of shopping options, including Tesco, Aldi and M&S food hall, as well as non-food outlets.
The property was extremely well equipped - all bed linen and towels, toilet rolls, everything needed to wash up and everything you could need in the kitchen, including all instructions for appliances. There were games in the living room cupboard and in the hallway cupboard was a vacuum cleaner, ironing board and iron and a fan (which was very welcome).
Lots of leaflets about places to visit which were helpful. Chester city is an easy 15 minute drive away and Grosvenor multi-storey is a great central place to park (£7.80 for upto 4 hours and £10 for the day).
The only reasons I have given it 4 stars is I didn't find the mattress in the double room particularly comfortable but I think it was an Ikea mattress and I have never got on with those and as we were in the ground floor flat, you could hear people moving about in the upstairs flat - I was very glad the upstairs flat didn't have children with them because I would imagine that could be quite noisy if they were running about.
