The Treehouse
Description
The Treehouse is a delightful, first-floor studio resting in Llansanffraid Glan Conwy in North Wales, offering a characterful base for couples seeking a break close to the dramatic landscapes of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. The kitchenette is equipped with a range of essential appliances, allowing for the easy preparation of home-cooked dishes throughout your stay, and located in a cupboard beside the living spaces. The apartment offers a double sofa bed in the living space, providing a restful space to retreat to in the evenings, along with a bathroom where you can freshen up at the start or end of each day. From here, large bi-fold doors open onto a terrace where there are extensive views across the gardens and towards the impressive Conwy Castle, a fantastic spot to enjoy a tipple and reflect on your adventures.
Outside, the property boasts two acres of mature gardens for guests to explore, with ponds, trees, sitting areas, and wildlife. The property benefits from access to parking, adding convenience on arrival and throughout your stay, while pet-friendly accommodation means you can bring your four-legged companion along for the trip. A shop and pub are available within the wider area for everyday essentials and dining options. Discover the surrounding village of Llansanffraid Glan Conwy with its traditional architecture and riverside setting. Visit nearby Conwy for its historic castle, harbour, and town walls, or take a stroll around the estuary at RSPB Conwy and see what wildlife you can find. Head to Llandudno for its pier, promenade, and Great Orme walks, or if you fancy an adventurous afternoon, why not try out skiing on the ski slope? Explore the striking scenery of Anglesey and its National Landscape, or head over to the Eryri National Park for walking routes, wildlife spotting, and outdoor pursuits. It was in a great location to access various lovely days out, the view from the living room was stunning and the owners gave us full use of their beautiful garden and for our 2 dogs to explore as well, the owners invited us in when we arrived with a much welcome cuppa and biscuits, treats and water for the dogs and lovely conversation, a very welcoming couple and a lovely surprise of a bottle of wine in the fridge too !
A very warm welcome on arrival.
We had an amazing week, the accommodation is first class, and an ideal centre to explore N. Wales. We were kindly allowed to explore the owners incredible woodland garden. Views from the balcony are to die for. A week is not enough, so will return. Our Shangri-la
Fabulous 5 night stay at The Treehouse which is a lovely cosy studio apartment with balcony to watch fabulous sunsets if you're lucky enough to have clear.
.ish skies! And lovely views of Conwy and the castle. Very comfortable sofa bed with a "star gazing" window above ...remote control to close if you don't want the dawn light! Beautiful 2 acre mature garden which the owners were happy for you to use. Nice small village with dog friendly pub and garden centre with a dog friendly room in the cafe and a good Chinese takeaway. Recommend Bodnant Gardens just 10mins drive away for a day out. Patrick and June were lovely hosts...always on hand if needed but also left you to yourselves to enjoy their wonderful and historic home! I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful hidden gem in an area that we love! The Mulberry pub at Conwy Marina is a lovely place to have lunch on a sunny afternoon too
