Description

The Barn at Bryn Eithin is a beautifully presented three-storey house in Colwyn Bay, Conwy.

Positioned in an elevated setting with far-reaching coastal views, a welcoming woodburning stove, en-suite bedrooms, and pet-friendly accommodation, it is well-suited to families and groups of friends looking to explore both the coast and the landscapes of Eryri National Park (Snowdonia).

On arrival, generous off-road parking ensures an easy start before stepping inside to a refined and thoughtfully styled interior.

A spacious hallway sets the tone, offering a practical place to pause before moving through the property, while a nearby utility room with washing machine, basin, and cloakroom provides a handy space to freshen up after days outdoors.

On the ground floor, two super-king-size bedrooms offer inviting places to settle in, one featuring an en-suite with bath and shower over alongside a walk-in wardrobe for convenient storage, and the other benefiting from its own en-suite bath and shower, both finished to a high standard that reflects the overall feel of the home.

Ascending the wooden staircase, the first floor reveals an impressive open-plan living area designed for both relaxation and socialising, with a sleek kitchen centred around an island with seating where you can gather over coffee or prepare meals using the hob, double oven, microwave, and dishwasher.

Navy cabinetry and carefully selected artwork bring character to the space, which flows seamlessly into the dining and sitting areas, inviting you to unwind by the woodburning stove as the evening sets in.

Large bi-fold doors draw your attention to the far-reaching coastal views, while the Juliette balcony offers a peaceful spot to step out and take in the outlook.

Also on this floor, a twin bedroom provides a versatile sleeping option for children or friends.

Continuing to the second floor, the master suite offers a private retreat, complete with a walk-in wardrobe and an elegant en-suite featuring a freestanding bath and a spacious walk-in shower, along with a plush armchair where you can relax with a book.

Outside, the garden creates a pleasant extension of the living space, with patio furniture, loungers, and a barbecue encouraging time spent outdoors in the countryside setting.

A nearby shop and pub are easily reached, while the beach is also within easy reach for days by the sea.

The property is a short walk from the Pen y Bryn pub where guests can enjoy a glass of their favorite beverage, and next to a fantastic zoo, ideal for animal lovers.

In Llandudno, you can wander along the Victorian pier, take the tramway up the Great Orme for sweeping views, and enjoy performances at Venue Cymru, while Conwy offers a chance to explore its impressive castle, discover the historic rooms of Plas Mawr, and stroll along the harbour.

Further afield, Eryri National Park presents dramatic mountain scenery, scenic walking routes, and tranquil lakes to discover.

The Barn at Bryn Eithin in Colwyn Bay presents a stylish and well-appointed base for experiencing the best of the North Wales coast and countryside.

The Barn, and this was our first time staying here.

What a fantastic find! The Barn is situated in a beautiful part of Upper Colwyn, with spectacular sea views. The house itself was absolutely stunning, beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, and very well equipped with everything we needed. Another added bonus is that there is an excellent gastro pub very close to the property, which was perfect without having to travel far. We thoroughly enjoyed our time.We would definitely return in the near future and would highly recommend The Barn.

We had such a lovely stay here.

The property was beautiful, and had everything we needed. The beds were really comfy and it just felt like a lovely, comfortable place to come back to after a day out. It was also in a great location and made a really good base for exploring the area. We honestly had a lovely time and would definitely stay here again. Would highly recommend it! ❤️

We have just got back from a family 4 day break at The Barn At Bryn Eithin.

There were 6 adults 3 children and 2 dogs. What a beautiful holiday home, full of mod cons and very comfortable to live in.There was more than enough room for us all spread over 3 very beautiful floors. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and the utility had a toilet ,a washer and even room to leave the baby’s pram erected.20 minutes walk from the railway station and amenities,or if you preferred there was room for at least 4 cars comfortably at the front and to the side of the private drive so you could take yourself off for a ride about Colwyn Bay and the surrounding seaside resorts. Highly recommended .beautiful and clean and just a pleasure to stay in this lovely conversion.Thank you for your hospitality ,we hope to visit again.
