Ael Y Bryn
Description
Ael Y Bryn is an inviting cottage set within the rolling countryside of Dyserth, enjoying far-reaching views towards the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park.
Perfect for a couple or solo traveller, this pet-friendly retreat offers a scenic base for exploring Denbighshire.
On arrival, park up and step into a bright and spacious interior, where the surrounding windows in the sitting room frame impressive countryside vistas, creating a lovely setting for relaxing evenings, whether watching films or taking in the changing colours of the sky.
The kitchen/diner is both stylish and full of character, featuring a traditional Welsh dresser, Belfast sink, and a woodburning stove that adds a welcoming touch as you gather around the dining table.
The kitchen is well-equipped with everything needed for your stay, along with a handy utility cupboard housing a washing machine.
When it’s time to rest, the sleek wet room provides a refreshing space to unwind before retreating to the double bedroom for a restful night’s sleep.
Outdoors, the multi-level garden offers an excellent spot to make the most of the fresh air, with space to dine alfresco while soaking up the sweeping views and enjoying a favourite drink.
Dyserth offers a charming setting with walks available straight from the doorstep, including routes to the village waterfall, through surrounding hills and woodland, up to the Triangulation Point, or along the old railway line leading to Prestatyn and its sandy beach.
The village itself provides a pub, places to eat, and local shops, while nearby Rhyl, Kinmel Bay, and Llandudno offer further amenities and attractions.
In Llandudno, you can visit the Great Orme, stroll along the historic pier, or browse independent shops.
The property is also well placed for exploring the striking landscapes of Eryri National Park, ideal for walking, wild swimming, and watersports.
Ael Y Bryn makes an excellent choice for a relaxing escape in the heart of North Wales.

What guests are saying
Hello, As my ratings above show, Ael Y Bryn is a lovely cottage, stunning views towards the Irish Sea, and excellent furnishings and fittings.
A well-sized and equipped kitchen, pleasant dining room and bedroom and the lounge/conservatory is a wonderful place to return to after a day out. On arrival, finding the cottage proved difficult as it is approached via a narrow walkway at the end of a cul-de-sac. The access down from the road might be difficult for those with mobility problems. Finding the keysafe was also a problem until Sarah told us in a text message where it is! Temporary hot water problems were dealt with quickly and amicably. More detailed information in advance of arrival and an information folder to explain use of the oven microwave and heating would be useful. Initial problems did not detract from our enjoyment of this location and we hope to return in the near future. Thanks for the scones and chocolates!
Lovely bungalow, very tucked away but the views from the sitting room are amazing.
There was everything we needed . Very clean. Loved our stay. Sarah was most helpful on two occasions I had to contact her. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
