Cae Mawr
Description
Cae Mawr is a bright and beautifully presented house resting in Dinas Dinlle, Gwynedd, close to both the stunning coastline and the remarkable landscapes of Eryri National Park. Offering spacious accommodation for up to eight guests, this contemporary retreat is ideal for families and groups of friends seeking a stylish base from which to explore North Wales.
At the heart of the home is a light-filled open-plan living space where guests can spend quality time together. The well-equipped kitchen includes everything needed to prepare family meals, while the dining area provides a sociable setting for gathering over breakfast or evening suppers. Afterwards, unwind in the sitting area beside the warmth of the woodburning stove or settle down with a film on the Smart TV. A separate first-floor snug offers an additional space to relax, making it easy for larger groups to spread out and enjoy their own pace. The sleeping accommodation is thoughtfully arranged across two floors. On the first floor, a super-king-size bedroom benefits from an en-suite featuring a freestanding bath, while on the ground floor there is a further super-king-size room with an en-suite wet room shower, alongside two additional super-king-size bedrooms. All bedrooms can be configured as twins on request, offering excellent flexibility. A spacious ground-floor bathroom with a bath, walk-in shower, and handheld shower serves the remaining rooms. Outside, guests can enjoy the enclosed lawn garden and large gravelled seating area, ideal for dining alfresco or simply taking in the fresh sea air. The hot tub provides a wonderful place to soak and unwind after days spent exploring the surrounding coastline, countryside, and mountains. Off-road parking for three cars adds further convenience. A shop, pub, and the sandy beach at Dinas Dinlle are all within easy reach. Explore nearby Caernarfon, home to Caernarfon Castle, the Welsh Highland Railway, and Doc Fictoria. Visit Llanberis to discover the National Slate Museum, Llanberis Lake Railway, and the gateway to Yr Wyddfa. Porthmadog also makes for an excellent day out with attractions including Ffestiniog Railway, Black Rock Sands, and the Maritime Museum. Whether you're relaxing in the hot tub, enjoying coastal walks, or venturing into Eryri National Park, Cae Mawr offers an excellent base for discovering the beauty of Gwynedd and North Wales.
