A quiet cosy cottage just right for relaxing after a busy day exploring.

All the amenities including our own private little spot for a bbq. The views were spectacular from the cottage, Glen and Delyth made us feel really welcome ensuring we had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

The accommodation location was ideal for exploring Snowdonia and the surrounding coastline.

Comfortable with all the home comforts, everything you need is in the cottage. Hosts Delyth and Glyn were so welcoming, kind and friendly and founts of knowledge about the local area - looking forward to a return trip (with the same weather!)

There is absolutly nothing bad to stay about this little piece of Heaven from the kindness of the owners that really care about you and the enjoyment of your holiday.

The views and solitude are second to known . we have just had the best weeks holiday in this beautiful cottage . The cottage is warm , cosy , has wifi , TV , netflix with your password. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need , dishwasher , washing machine , cooker and microwave and plenty of pots and pans. Thank you for the Bira Birth and other essentials a great help. The two shower rooms are great and everuthing is spotless . The Double we stayed in was so comfortable and we slept so well every night. The couple who owned the farm are so kind and gave us lots of places to vist and we now consider them as friends and we will return 100 percent. Thank you once again Martin and Ken

The owner was so friendly and left us a wonderful good pack including milk butter and Welsh cakes.

This property is beautiful lovely and clean it has everything you would need for a holiday or short stay it has all the equipment you need for cooking and it has a washer for you to wash your clothes if need the bedrooms are lovely with comfortable beds and both have there own bathroom it is a credit to the owners who are great and very helpful we would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone thank you so much we really enjoyed our stay there

A fabulous little cottage with amazing scenery surrounding it.

The cottage is clean, comfortable and well equipped. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. A lovely selection of Welsh goodies awaited us on arrival which were delicious. The cottage is perfectly situated for exploring the Snowdonia national park which made for some great days out. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again in the future

We had a great week here and the cottage had everything we needed.

We especially liked sitting on the veranda looking at the view. There are many places to walk without driving far and the owner was really helpful with useful information about the area. We happened to get a really sunny week but we would have been comfortable here in any weather and would definitely like to come again.

It was lovely and had everything we needed. The kids loved feeding the sheep on the farm! Delyth was very friendly and helpful with recommendations of what to do and where to eat out. The cottage is in a good location to explore the many things to do in the area. We all loved our stay and had a fantastic holiday.

It had all the facilities we would have hoped for and the owners were really nice, friendly people and they made us feel welcome. The Farm is located in a central location in Snowdonia, so ideally suited if you like walking in the mountains, there’s lots of choice! It’s definitely on our list of places to go back to.

Delyth was absolutely lovely and incredibly welcoming the entire time we stayed.

The cottage was very well maintained with the bedrooms, kitchen and living area all at a very high standard. Any issues or questions we had were sorted straight away and we'd all definitely come back again! Definitely a bonus for us that we stayed in lambing season and got to see all of the babies in the field from the windows

Lovely cottage.

Clean and well appointed. As the owner told us it’s pretty much 20 minutes from anywhere you’d like to go! Coed y Brenin Forest Park is very close and great fun and for EV drivers the car charging in the park is free although it didn’t work properly on our last day. There is also charging in the main car park at Dolgellau.

We can highly recommend the cottage and the owners were very helpful and friendly

Brilliant base for a walking holiday with hosts who are on hand if you need them but allow you to enjoy the cottage and facilities in privacy.

The welcome pack was a welcome touch and the outside spaces were a great place to enjoy a quiet drink soaking in the sun and views of mountains we had walked. Hendre Cottage is full of character with all mod cons. A special thanks to our host for her friendly and professional support on arrival and exit. Looking forward to our next visit.

This is was our second stay in the cottage, which is was generally very clean and well-equipped.

Other major advantages are next to a main road (no narrow lanes) and good mobile signal. We were a little disappointed that the DVD player mentioned in the listing was no longer available, since the TV had been upgraded to a 'smart' TV, and we also had problems with the fridge, but we pointed this out to the Owner, and we are sure this will have been sorted. We hope to be able to return.

A beautiful setting, watching the lambs whilst stood at the kitchen sink was a treat.

The property itself was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend. The hosts were perfect, offering help if we needed it but not at all intrusive. A very thoughtful and delicious welcome pack was left for us. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

We have just got back from a wonderful week at Hendre Cottage.

It is situated in a lovely location surrounded by the Rhinog mountains. It was a delight waking up to those views every morning. The cottage was very comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The host was very attentive and friendly, and on hand if we needed her. We would highly recommend this holiday stay.

Just got back from another wonderful stay at Hendre cottage.

The hosts were fantastic and my daughter loved collecting eggs from the farm (and the lovely farm cats). Great facilities- large utility room storage area for our paddle boards and a fantastic lockable building for our mountain bikes. Everything we wanted to do was within 20 minutes of Hendre cottage, with Coed-y-Brenin only 3 minutes drive away! We can’t wait to return!

Charming cottage very clean.

Bedrooms were small but great to have en suite in both. The owners were welcoming and we enjoyed our chats. We forgot some items and these were returned to us in the post. Delyth we would recommend your cottage and the area around for a visit to Wales. Sue and jeff

Absolutely wonderful stay.

Delightful hosts, the cottage is immaculate, and there are three very friendly cats on the farm! The surrounding scenery is stunning, and the cottage is perfectly situated for a walking holiday. We will definitely be staying again.

A lovely cottage in a perfect location for cycling and walking, and also for being able to reach either the coast or the beautiful Snowdonian mountains within a 30 minute drive; there are some challenging mountain passes to drive or bike along, rewarding those brave enough to take on the challenge with breathtaking scenery!

The great location even allowed us to spend a day in Anglesey after having visited Caernarfon, and the dark sky around the cottage was great for stargazing through the velux windows, in the comfort of being indoors with wine in hand! The owner was warm and welcoming without being intrusive and was very quick to respond to questions prior to and during our visit. We found everything we needed in the cottage and the welcome hamper of eggs, milk, tea and treats was a lovely touch. We will definitely be returning to Hendre Cottage again soon!

Good comfortable cottage.

Right next to a A Road but hardly heard any noice, can get used to it. Owners live right next door, very helpful. Not much to do around the area, there's the Forest park about 5 minutes away but everything else is around 50 minutes drive. Around 35 miles like the main areas, Bala, Betsy Cwoyd, Cricceth, etc.

The cottage and the views of the countryside are fantastic,The farming family that own the cottage are lovely people,we had a great stay,we loved every moment of it!

if your walkers or like us,people who like to drive up into the mountains and get lost(we drove for miles and only did see one or two other vehicles),then this is the place to stay!

The owners of Hendre Cottage were so welcoming, they immediately whisked our daughter off to feed the animals which she absolutely loved!

The cottage was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for our stay in Wales. The location is fantastic, right in the middle of everywhere. The best cottage we’ve ever stayed in! We will be booking again!

It’s is in a beautiful location. A good base for exploring the local area. The cottage is lovely and clean with everything you need. Delyth the owner was very lovely and helpful and took our little boy to collect eggs from the hens each day. We will definitely look to return.

Fabulous location for exploring Snowdonia and the beautiful North Wales coast.

The host was welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We would happily recommend and visit again!

It was a beautiful property with lovely views of the mountains.

The house was so clean and we had everything we needed. The showers were excellent and beds very comfortable with cosy duvets. The lady who owned the property was so welcoming and helpful and my children loved the farm cat who would rush to come and get some fuss from us all. We got to see a little bit of farm life with the sheepdog rounding up the sheep and the calves coming to be fed their grain in the field. All in all it was a wonderful stay at Hendre Fawr.

The cottage itself was beautiful.

It was very clean and decorated and furnished to a high standard. We had a very warm welcome on arrival and even a basket of extras in the kitchen.The owners were particularly warm and welcoming. As my wife's father was from the area, we formed a lovely bond with them. We would highly recommend this property as it is right in the middle of all the wonderful attractions that the area has to offer.

The location is ideal for visiting Porthmadog Black Rock Sands Steam Railways and Castles. We intend to return for future holidays and would strongly recommend this cottage. We had a very warm welcome from the owner including a lovely homemade sponge cake, she gave us information regarding places to visit along with a wealth of leaflets left in the cottage for us to use.

The cottage was clean and beautifully presented with everything needed to make your home away from home. The position of the cottage in relation to the A470 meant that the whole of Wales was easily accessible, it's a great base surrounded by breath taking scenery. If you want to be able to see and visit forests, mountains and the beach it's the perfect place to stay.

We fell in love with this place.

Cottage had everything we needed (we were surprised with how well equiped it is) and was very clean. Outside there is patio with chairs and also bbq area we could use. The host is lovely and very helpful. If I ever go back to Snowdonia, I will book Hendre Cottage.

We have stayed at log cabins across the road for last 35 years, wish we found this place earlier.

The owners were lovely, so friendly and charming and they took our kids off to feed the chickens and collect their eggs every evening which they really enjoyed.

The cottage is in a great location and was nicely decorated throughout. We would definitely like to return.

The owner- Mrs Jarett- was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Our children were able to feed the hens and help collect their eggs which was a new experience for them! Location was perfect ( very close proximity to Coed y Brenin which is where we were each day!) and the bike storage facilities were good too thus making our holiday even more relaxing as a result. We would highly recommend this cottage. Thanks.

Hendre Cottage is a lovely small barn conversion with great facilities, extremely well presented and is perfect for a family of four, two couples, or three people if two are willing to share a room.

The cottage is situated next to the owners house on her delightful smallholding. My friend and I found the location, which is literally 4 minutes from Coed Y Brenin Trail Centre, to be ideal as we were riding bikes the entire weekend. It would be ideal for anyone wanting to enjoy the spectacular scenery of North Wales. The owner is a charming and helpful woman that went so far as to loan us her slow cooker so that we could leave a meal cooking whilst we went riding. There are a couple of points to make that I feel people should be aware of. Firstly the cottage is next to the A470 which is in regular use, even during the night. I am a light sleeper and wish I had bought my ear plugs, if you are a light sleeper I suggest you do the same. Secondly, there are a few very curious cats in the area, if you have any allergies to cats then I suggest having a discussion before booking.

The cottage was excellent, and was perfectly placed as a base to explore North Wales.

The cottage is perfectly situated in the heart of snowdonia just off a main road which was handy for quickly getting to where you needed to go but certainly not a problem with traffic noise.

We were made very welcome with cake and eggs by the owners who have a working smallholding with cows sheep and chickens. The cottage itself was nicely decorated and furnished to a very good standard with everything you need and more, a real home from home. We really enjoyed our time in Wales and wouldn't hesitate in coming back in the future.

A wonderful welcome, the homemade cake and eggs from the farm were much appreciated.

The owners could not have been more helpful. For an activity holiday the location of the cottage is ideal. Plenty to see and do but not enough time to do it all. Would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage to friends and relatives.

This was our first time staying in a cottage through Sykes, we had an excellent service from start to finish of our holiday.

The cottage was brilliant, and lovely scenery, set in a very convenient location for our needs. The owner was great, ensuring we had everything we needed and very approachable which made us feel at home. Our week went very quickly we didn't want to leave. This wonderful cottage is located in the fresh, beautiful valleys and mountains of Snowdonia.

The owners were very welcoming and kind towards us and welcomed us home with a batch of delicious, home-made chocolate brownies, yum! The cottage was cute and very comfortable with everything you need for a relaxing holiday in the indoors, as well as outdoors. The living room had a range of fun boardgames and a variety of leaflets proudly displaying all the amazing local and distant places you can go and explore in Snowdonia, from mines to adventure central parks and farms. Outside of the cottage is a small working farm with chickens, sheep, cows and even a cute ginger kitten called Macky with her mummy! We had a fantastic holiday here, exploring the beautiful countryside locations and relaxing in this warm home. Thanks to the wide range of activities and fun, we were always kept busy and every day was another adventure through the many wonders of Snowdonia! Thank you very much for everything, we will definitely be considering rebooking this holiday!

It was on a very busy road the A407 although the location was excellent you could hear the traffic day and night .

The cottage is so easy to find due to a great location, easily accessible and about 30min away from bigger towns/shops/some places to visit. Our cottage was modern, very tidy, cosy and warm. We felt welcome from the very first minute as the owner met us on our arrival. The owner is extremely polite, friendly and will take care of you well. She checked out if we had everything we needed, but was not interfering with the rest of the stay, which I think was great as we could relax and enjoy our holidays! The view through the window was breathtaking: we had a barbecue outside while enjoying the view of the mountains! I would highly recommend this holiday place.
