For something different visit Zip World or one of the other adrenaline adventure sites which the Eryri National Park has to offer, and there is also the option to hike, try out watersports and wild swim in one of the many stunning lakes.

Dolgellau and Machynlleth both offer a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants, ideal for a hearty meal out, while Aberdovey and Barmouth are both very popular seaside resorts.

Pen y Bont is a truely charming Mallwyd cottage in a truly lovely riverside location, where if you are very lucky you may capture the Salmon leap the waterfall.
