Great location but a lack of attention to detail, and a lot of clutter lets this property down

3rd visit & can not wait to revisit.

The views are amazing here & we were lucky with the weather, sunshine everyday so could have spent every hour using the garden furniture provided & relaxing. Kitchen has everything (and more) you need. Everything well maintained. Feedback Note: We always find it useful if good simple instructions to hand for visitors, we would have found this useful.

Lovely comfortable and spacious cottage with lots of outside space and seating areas in which to relax and take in the most fantastic views and sunsets.

Cottage is well equipped and in an ideal location for a scenic walk into Harlech and to other coastal places by car. We would definitely stay here again.

The view from this property is spectacular!

We had a fantastic week with gorgeous weather which meant the views continued all week. The house was comfortable and well equipped. It’s a shame the bathroom isn’t bigger but this wouldn’t stop us from returning. It was very useful to have a shed for bike storage.

The house was an absolute dream.

I miss the view every day. The local area was amazing to explore. I'd be back in a heartbeat.

We had a fantastic week at this property.

This was to accommodate our elderly in - laws and ourselves so it’s ideal for both 60 and 80 somethings if reasonably fit. Reasonable fitness is required only if you’re intending to take a stunning walk to the beach or down to the village area as it could be considered steep in certain parts. But this property’s 5star rating absolutely is its unbroken views which are awesome and mesmerising regardless of the weather. What a beautiful place.

It has everything you may need and more for a comfortable stay. Situated in a superb location with outstanding views. A return is on the agenda ;-)

Our second time at Sibrwd Y Mor.

We have been home for two weeks nearly but we still miss and talk about it. Harlech is hauntingly beautiful. The house is perfect any problems whatsoever and help is a WhatsApp away. Not that we needed anything. We enjoyed the beach and the wildlife. We even saw the fantastic Cardigan bay Dolphins Thanks for the memories. We are off to Canada now for five years to work. When we return we will make Harlech our final home Lisa & Steve

Fantastic property , views are amazing, house is well equipped and beds are comfortable.

Quiet, just had an amazing time there .

Obviously this place is all about the view which is magnificent.

It is very well stocked with kitchen equipment, the main bedrooms are quite nice. What is called the external bathroom is ridiculous, you can’t stand in the shower without banging your hands or head on the roof, there’s no room to dry or bend over, the shower door opens inwards and cut my toe, it’s cold even with the radiator, probably due to the fact the door has a huge gap in it. This place is set up for seven people, we only had four adults and there’s not much room to move about in the main room which doubles as the dining area, woefully small, totally unsuitable for the occupancy rate, the radiator is covered by the sofa so that’s great, if you want to add another forty pounds to the cost you can buy logs, coal and kindling. It does have heating but it’s quite slow to react and generally was a cold house The inside down stairs bathroom, the floor is cracked and uneven, the bath is clearly the wrong way round so getting in and out is hazardous with the slanted end facing you, with no bath mat it is very slippery, so I was forced to use the cold external’ bathroom’, this meant making the trip from the house round the outside in the cold/wet/wind. Also the ceiling was very low and made hair washing difficult, added to this the very poor water pressure made showering a chore, easily remedied by reasonable power showers that aren’t expensive. Parking for 4 cars ! 3 cars at a push and that is if one goes on the mud and risks getting stuck. £800 in mid March isn’t cheap, the artistic license with the photos doesn’t show the full story, the lack of detail is very telling. Hardly any hangers in the wardrobes. I’m guessing you’ll say no one else raises these issues, but sadly we all felt that these points raised spoilt our time in llanfair / harlech.

Absolutely cracking property!

Will definitely be booking again. We had a minor issue with a wasps nest during our stay but this was very quickly resolved by the owner. Fantastic facilities. Views and sunsets were breathtaking. You definitely will not be disappointed with your stay here.

Best property that we have stayed in with Sykes

Beautiful place, exactly as in the pictures.

The cottage was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well furnished. The modern kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The outside space is vast with the most beautiful views. My kids (10 and 11) loved the swing at the bottom of the garden and liked climbing the big tree. Bath and beach towels were supplied which is always welcome. The cottage is a walkable distance from Harlech but still feels secluded, peaceful and private. We had a lovely dinner at Castle Cottage in town.The stay was great and we are definitely looking to come back.

The facilities were great, lots of really thoughtful and useful touches. Definitely on our list to return again in the summer (when we can hopefully enjoy some nicer weather!).
