The cottage is lovely, cosy, clean and in a very quiet area.

The bed is great! Very comfortable. The bathroom is big. The kitchen has anything you may need. The hosts left for us at arrival a bara brith and milk, that was a nice touch. We had a problem with wi-fi, but the owners were swift to fix it. Definitely would come back.

Beautifully furnished and comfortable cottage in a very quiet peaceful location.

Within a couple of minutes walk of shops cafes bakery and Spar and Co Op. A couple of nice hotels in town centre doing great food highly recommend the Torrent Walk Hotel for food.

Very warm, quiet and comfortable cottage.

Location very central for shops, restaurants etc. Parking arrangements might be a bit challenging if mobility is restricted. A washing up bowl and dish drainer would be helpful given there's no dishwasher. Otherwise well-equipped. Would return.

Lovely little cottage, very cute indeed.

However the upstairs is a lot nicer than the downstairs. Downstairs has a musky dampness and the upstairs is so much warmer and generally cosier. The only real issue I had is that we were meant to bring our dog but decided not to. This would have been a problem as apparently dogs are not allowed upstairs. If you advertise as doggie friendly, this should be for the whole of the property. How would we have kept a dog downstairs with no stair gate? So I would come back again apart this as would be a deal breaker for me.

The property was in a perfect location, people so friendly and very hey.

This is a lovely little cottage, very close to the centre of the town but tucked away in a private courtyard.

The space has been laid out successfully, so doesn't feel cramped, and I liked the decor. The kitchen drawers were stocked with useful bits, the mugs and breakfast bowls are a decent size. The bed is gigantic! The shower over the bath has both a flexible head and a rainfall-style one. Having a pint of milk in the fridge on arrival was very welcome :) The town itself has some cute shops and very good bakeries! We used one to get sandwiches made up to take on the two big walks we did direct from the village. You don't have to walk far to be in the most stunning scenery (but you do tend to have to walk upwards!). We also had trips to the beach at Barmouth and had a great meal at the Victoria Inn at Llanbedr, on the scenic A496.

Overall the cottage was very good.

Description was accurate. The cottage was clean, well presented and comfortable. Kitchen was quite well equipped, only 2 dinner plates although 4 of everything else. If you're taking your dog make sure to take bowls etc as none available at the property. Unlike other cottages we have stayed there was no welcome pack and milk would have been very useful on arrival. We had difficulty locating the cottage, not realising it was tucked down a gated courtyard. There was no lighting in the courtyard, arriving at 6pm (November) this was a problem. We always carry torches so had to retrieve those to walk through the courtyard to the cottage. We also kept these to hand when arriving back after a day out. We would stay again, as the town is on the doorstep and the cottage is in a great location for lots of amazing walks and not too far (10 miles) to the sandy beach.

This is lovely cottage in a picturesque little town that has all your needs covered.

It's a great base for exploring Snowdonia, Barmouth and the coast. Check out the Mawddach trail to Penmaenpool toll Bridge (pub!) or all the way to Barmouth. A great place to visit.

Who ever stays in this cottage will not be disapointed its a really lovky cottage .

Such a wonderful place to stay.

The owners had thought of everything: from blankets for the sofa to make staying in warm and comfortable, to toiletries and extra bedding. We have stayed in Dolgellau several times, but this cottage was our favourite.

Lots of walks can be done from the doorstep. Carol was very welcoming and great to work with, making the stay even more comfortable and enjoyable.

Car parking a drawback but that was clearly explained in the description. The little touches take it to another level... Big variety of tea/coffee, nice bathroom toiletries, and bottle of wine on arrival. Great location for pubs, shops, restaurants. Would highly recommend!

Excellent cottage, everything you needed was provided.

A great location with lots of places to visit not too far away. Nice little touches with a selection of luxury flavoured teabags and a variety of toiletries. Parking not a problem, could park on the road three minutes walk away. Cottage two mins walk from the centre. Would highly recommend!

Lovely cottage, very well equipped and great location in the town of Dolgellau.

The owners couldn’t be more helpful and are on hand to sort out any problems or queries and to give general advice about the area, which was helpful. The only small gripe we had was that car parking locally was a bit of an issue with most of the town limited to one hour stays, fortunately parking inspectors seemed to be few and far between but if not this could add car parking costs towards the overall costs of the stay - not made totally clear on the website.

Gorgeous cottage in a fabulous location.

A very short walk from the local village which is so lovely and has everything you need including nice pubs and restaurants; and a short walk from some fantastic country walks. The cottage itself was decorated beautifully and kept in pristine condition. We would love to return one day

We loved our stay.

The cottage is lovely and super comfortable. The kitchen was also stocked with lots of helpful things for cooking and other useful things such as tea, coffee, kitchen foil, washing up liquid etc. which we really appreciated. The hosts were very helpful and kind and also left us some lovely biscuits and wine. Thank you so much for a great stay!

As a disabled person (mobility impaired) I rely heavily on my car particularly when I’m finding it difficult to walk.

The uncertainty of where I could park, and for the 7 days without concern that I was going to get a ticket was high.
