We had a lovely stay it was very quiet and peaceful.
The basket with goodies and milk were very welcome thank you. The next comments may sound picky, but I would have found it easier to cook with smaller saucepans and there were no plastic containers to use in the microwave. The mattress was much to soft for me but appreciate that this is down to the individual.
Overall, very happy, but it was tricky walking to the far side of the bed.
There is not much room between it and the wall, we had to shuffle sideways. Lovely welcome pack, and watching the numerous birds on the feeder was a joy...washing up became a pleasure
Fantastic stay at Gilfach Bach.
Property was spotless and was equipped with everything we needed for a home from home stay. The welcome box with goodies was a lovely touch! Property is in a stunning location and not too far from Dolgellau town - about 25 minute walk into the town and a bit longer in the way back due to being uphill (the 'view on map' function on the website isn't accurate so please read property description where it specifies distance to town...we missed this part but the walk didn't bother us too much as it was so pretty!). Plenty to do in the surrounding area - excellent location for a hike up Cadair Idris (the start of the pony path is only a mile or so down the road), a trek through Coed-y-Brenin forest and easy access to the gorgeous Mawddach trail and the stunning Precipice walk. Lovely selection of pubs in the town too. Overall a fantastic stay - unable to pick any faults at all - highly recommend!
