Set on a wooded hillside, this charming Harlech holiday cottage provides a lovely self-catering accommodation for families and friends.
After a day of fell walking, kick off your walking boots and slump into the sofa, tuning into the TV whilst the crackle of the woodburner puts you at ease.
Move into the kitchen, where you can sit at the dining table and keep the designated chef company whilst they prepare a hearty-meal, assisted by the electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and there’s even a dishwasher to help washing up!
There’s also a handy utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, so you can easily freshen up your wardrobe!
On the first floor you’ll find a family bathroom and four bedrooms one with en-suite shower room and French doors leading into the wonderful garden area.
Make the most of the grounds, with plenty of space for the pooch and children to run, including a seating area with fire pit and along the edge there is a river that is perfect for dipping your toes in on a summer’s day.
From the door there are plenty of walks and cycle trails into the hills, making it a real haven for any outdoor enthusiast.
A short journey away lies Harlech Castle, a medieval fortification built onto a rocky knoll close to the Irish Sea.
Alternatively, spend an afternoon lounging on the Black Rock Sands, perfect for sunbathing and swimming.
Take the short drive to the Italianate village of Portmeirion, designed by Sir Clough Williams Ellis, or you can ride the little steam trains of the Ffestiniog Railway.
Further afield, roughly 50 mins drive away, is the scenic Snowdonia National Park, where you can enjoy adventure at Zip World Ffestiniog.
However you choose to spend your holiday time, look forward to a heart-warming escape at Tyn Llwyn.

Thank you for a really lovely stay in Tyn Llwyn.
The property is warm and welcoming and very well equipped. We are a family party of 5 adults and we all thought we had everything we needed. The only downside for us was the mattress in the second double bedroom which isn't the most comfortable. The other rooms were all very good and comfy. One other minor improvement would be a larger saucepan as there was only one big enough for the number of guests. Overall we would recommend staying here and look forward to going again.
The property exceeded our expectations from the marketing.
It is remote enough to feel relaxed but not too far away from Harlech either. We really enjoyed our stay, the property is equipped with everything you would expect, except towels which is advised in the booking details and would like to return in the future Would thoroughly recommend.
A brilliant holiday cottage to stay in.
It was perfect for our family of 5 and the grandparents too. The rooms were all clean and we were grateful for the well equipped kitchen. The showers were brilliant too. The garden was lovely. A great place for the children to explore and play ball games in. It was nice and close to touristy places, but also so nice to be out in the countryside. Perfect in every way. It would have been handy to have a stair gate at the bottom of the stairs as it states not to let the dog upstairs. We had to block it with suitcases- so a simple stair gate would have been easier. Thank you for a super stay.
