The property

A well-appointed detached bungalow, situated in a small residential cul de sac in the centre of the popular seaside village of Fairbourne within the beautiful Snowdonia National Park.

The cottage is only a two minute walk from Fairbourne's renowned two-mile long sandy beach making it perfect for family seaside holidays.

Sealyons offers comfortable, light and airy accommodation, tastefully decorated in a coastal theme.

The accommodation has three bedrooms, the main bedroom benefitting from having a king-size bed and a modern bathroom.

The cosy sitting room has a lovely large corner sofa, great for snuggling up on to watch your favourite film in the evening, enjoying a warming glow from the modern living flame-effect electric fire for those chillier evenings.

The kitchen is well equipped with a spacious dining room with patio doors opening onto a wonderful decked area with rattan furniture, a perfect place to unwind and relax after a busy day building sandcastles or walking on the hills.

This space is ideal for al fresco dining or to simply enjoy a glass of something chilled and take in the wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and scenery, encompassing the old Golwern Slate Quarry high above the village, nestled into the hillside.

Why not have a walk up there during your stay and visit the Blue Lake, a very deep, clear blue pool in a mysterious cavern?

Steps from the decked area lead down to a lower patio with table and chairs and the wonderful lawned garden is a safe environment, great for the children to play in and have a bit of a kick about and run off the last of their energy.

This lovely cottage is perfect for family fun and wonderful walks on the long sandy beach.

Fairbourne village has several amenities including a newsagent, grocer, butcher, Post Office, general store, restaurants, fish and chip shop and a pub, as well as the historic Fairbourne Steam Railway, great for all the family.

The whole area is surrounded by stunning views and walks along the local beaches and the stunning Mawddach Estuary, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Fairbourne golf course is just a short stroll away.

The area offers numerous outdoor activities, cycle trails, renowned mountain biking facilities and watersports.

Why not see this beautiful area from the saddle?

The nearby Bwlchgwyn farm offers pony rides and treks along the beach.

The popular market town of Dolgellau is less than ten miles away and Barmouth, with lovely shopping and a regal harbour is just a three mile walk across the estuary bridge or a fourteen mile drive.

This is a wonderful location and beachside base for the perfect family holiday, all year round.
