    “We have come to stay at Garnedd twice a year for quite a few years now.”

    It is always spotlessly clean and tidy. The house manager must be a very hard working and dedicated person. It’s a very comfortable and ‘easy’ place to stay. The beaches aren’t far away and there are many places of interest to visit. But sometimes the best thing to do is to sit and look out of the lounge window. The views of the river estuary and Shell Island are truly magnificent and constantly changing. And, yes, we have booked for next year already!

When you’re done building sand castles on the beach, you can visit a real one as the historic town of Harlech with it's majestic castle is only a couple of minutes’ drive away!

This carefully thought out, bright and welcoming seaside holiday cottage has magnificent views out over Cardigan Bay - we recommend making use of the telescope! "What wonderful views!

Garnedd Lwyd is perfect for a family seaside holiday and is only a short walk from the beach.

A stay here will be sure to recharge your batteries." Garnedd Lwyd is perfectly located; walk to the beach (you are just a 10 minute stroll down to Llandanwg Beach and beach cafe) or drive a short distance for even more beaches, the splendid Castle and traditional shops of Harlech, great restaurants, Royal St David's Golf Club, the pretty village of Llanbedr and the breathtakingly beautiful Nantcol Valley. Barmouth is also within driving distance (and well worth a visit!) as is the beautiful Llyn Peninsula and all that has to offer.

This house is in an ideal location to discover all of Snowdonia (and even the Llyn if you want to go further afield) has to offer!

Harlech 1.4 miles; Barmouth 11 miles; Porthmadog 13 miles.

The pretty village of Llanfair has an impressive location, quietly nestling between the foothills of the Rhinog mountains and the stunning golden beach of Harlech, whilst also providing panoramic views over Shell Island and Cardigan Bay. Boasting its own mild climate due to its unusual positioning, and an exciting array of wildlife and birds including soaring buzzards, this traditional village is an ideal base for wonderful scenic walks in the surrounding countryside. The small town of Harlech, which is a World Heritage Site is only 1.4 miles away and is dominated by its majestic 13th Century castle.
